"cyberpimp" no, "cyberslut" I was, I'm just lonely. and I would not try flirting with someone who is young enough to be my own child, or a younger sibling. I've no girlfriend n reality, so I'm online posting on forums instead of having sex, making love, and f*cking, besides, I'd use the Kama Sutra if I knew all the positions.

I and the other staff members would prefer it if you would refrain from using this much profanity. I've seen it before and now I see it again, and I didn't say anything back then because you were clearly angry (with me), but in this case, I have no choice but to comment. Please remember that this is a PG-13 forum, and as such, we're not trying to make anyone uncomfortable. Thanks. That said, yes, I have no gf right now, which is the main reason I'm online all the time. I'm not exactly looking, but might the opportunity pop up, I WILL make her mine.

As now to coming back to the actual subject: I've seen only the german - heavily rated, yet still quite well dubbed version it, and even though they were cousins there, it didn't seem right to me. For once, the atmosphere which is created around these two, and of some comments they made, so in the end I concluded they were a couple, no matter what the Dub tried to hide. Heh, I didn't know that back then, but the more I thought about it, it seemed fine with me. ;D
Another thing: I don't think its all by choice, being straight or not. I believe that it is also something connected to (early) childhood and maybe also in puberty, when people try to find themselves. In childhood, you mimic your parents' behavoirisms (and not only them, but also people or things who you're around alot) and it may be a part coming from that. Puberty, sure why not? Everyone may be experimentig with one or the other and thus collects experiences and information about these things. So it may be, that someone is attracted to the same gender, cause he or she's simply pulled to that, and calles it choice. But then, it may be not. A second thought could be heavy and deep cuts in a persons previous parts of life, concerning love life. If someone, for example, had found their perfect match, but cannot hold it, may it be for external reasons lets say, moving to another state or country, and is hurt so deeply inside, it may be, that this person distrusts love as it is, and may broaden his or her view. And of course, there are people who may think its right, cause they choose to.
I personally think it has absolutly nothing to do with with beliefs, more though with the history, ethics and interpretation of various things. So if some call it 'God didn't intend it' then someone may show some proof for that as well, and even though I'm an atheist, I'm quite sure there would be no such thing is ever in that book, not without the interpretation of someone or another. And because of this interpretation, people believe it is the only way to their own personal freedom. So much to ethics and interpretation, but why history? History plays again one of its main roles in this. Think about the Middle Ages, it was a time, where the Christian Church declared anything abnormal or perhaps fearsome, and of course, anything which could lower the personal influence of a priest or its church as heathen. Just at that: may you also consider the "Hexenhammer" (Witch Hammer) some churchman wrote and was the so called proper conduct for anyone who had been declared a witch. The result was quite simple: for one, they dominated over women, at least in public and society, and reduced any other form of behavior other than linear thinking, which is doing everything what the priest may tell you, strengthened by the people's illiteracy and the churchman's interpretation of the latin and greek bible. Considering this background, and having people being forced to linear thinking, it is only a short way of telling people being free in their thinking, being homosexual, etc. is wrong and must pay for their sins - "paying" for the wealth of the churches, that is. And anyone who would declare otherwise would burn as a wizard, heathen or witch. This major influence struck throughout Europe. Therefore, it is quite simple, that now the entire western world, emerging from such a background, is homophobic and slowly begins to accept it being otherwise.
(as an example: how long did it take for the church to accept that the world was round? As far as I've read they changed that last year or so... *g*)

Amen, my man.
And THAT, my friends, is why believers are sheep, following greedy herders.

The five golden rules, and the only true guidelines to life: Exodus 20:13 - Exodus 20:17 The rest of it is BSI wouldn't say all of it is BS. . . there is quite a bit of fluff that's not BS. A lot of good things to be had in other places as well.
