I just changed the name from Ami to Miya, some people were confused.Chapter 1 Miya laid in her queen sized cast iron bed, writing her stories by nothing but candle light, and her stereo playing different genres of love songs. As a song changes to another, Miya adjusts her black tank top and black boxers, the red silky sheets silently moved against her soft slender legs. She slowly drifted off to a sleep thinking of her stories of love, romance, adventure, and danger, her pencil and notebook laid beside her, the candles still burning as her favorite song finished, and the stereo turned off. The next morning Miya awoke to the morning light shining through her black curtains. She looked at the candles that had burned to the end of their wicks, and her story laying beside her. Miya gets out of the bed and closes the curtains. She walks to her desk and pulls out more candles, she lights them, and replaces the old ones. After turning her stereo on and putting her Simple Plan CD in, she goes to her closet and grabs her black skirt, and black and red Linkin Park tank top from their hangers. Miya walks into the bathroom and lays her clothes on the counter as she starts to fill the bath tub with water. She looks in the mirror and sees the reflection of a 19 year old girl, with light blue eyes, looking back at her. She picked up her brush and pulled her black and blue highlighted hair back. When the tub was filled, Miya turned the water off. She took her clothes off, and slipped into the tub. As the candles fragrances filled her bedroom and bathroom, she deep down in the tub so that only her neck and her was above the water. After soaking in the tub for a while, she picked up the towel from the rack beside the tub, and went to the shower. Miya stood wrapped in nothing but a towel around her slender body as she waited for the shower to get hot. When the water reached the right temperature, Miya takes the towel from around her body, and steps into the steaming shower. After Miya gets out she gets dressed, she put her black heeled boots on grabbed her black and red trench coat for her bed post. She grabs her cell phone and truck keys and her book bag with her stories in it, and walks out the door after turning her stereo off. Miya walks to out to her truck, after putting her Green Day CD in, she pulls out of the drive way. As she drove down the road, she took her name tag out of the glove compartment and slipped it into her pocket. Driving through town, she finally pulls into Sam Goody. When Miya walks in she clips her name tag to her shirt and places her bag, and coat behind the counter as she clocked her time card in. Miya walks around and helps the teenagers, adults, and other people find their CDs, video games, mangas, anime, movies, gizmos, and gadgets. When lunch time came around Michelle came into the store and walked up behind Miya. “Hey Miya.” Michelle said as Miya turned around. “Oh hey Michelle. What’s up?” she asked the 18 year old girl. “Nothing much, I came by to see if you wanted to go out for lunch.” “Well let me check with Mark and if he says yeah we can go. I’ll be right back.” Miya says then walks off and to find Mark. “Mark can I go out for my lunch break?” He looks up from his clipboard revealing his dark brown eyes from under his black hair. “Yeah just be back in an hour, Miya.” he smiles and asks, “Can you bring me something back?” Sure, Mark, I’ll get your usual burger, fries, and a coke.” “Thanks, Miya.” he says looking back at his clipboard as his hair falls in his face again. Miya walks back over to Michelle, “Ok Michelle lets go, just let me grab my coat and bag.” “Alright Miya.” Michelle said as Miya grabbed her stuff. They walked out of the store and Miya gets in her black Chevy Silverado, while Michelle got into her midnight blue Mustang convertible. They pull out, and got to Fatz Café. Upon entering, Miya’s cell phone starts going off, “Hello?” A hyper energetic voice answers back, “Hey Miya! It’s Natalie. What’s going on?” “Nothing much, Michelle and I just walked into Fatz. Where are you?” “I am about to leave work, here at Templetons, for lunch.” “hey your near Fatz. Want to come and eat lunch with us?” Miya asked as a waitress sat her and Michelle. “Sure I’ll be there in about 5 minutes. See ya soon Miya.” Miya hangs up her cell phone. “Who is coming?” asked Michelle. “Natalie, she said she would be here in about 5 minutes.” “Ok.” Michelle said looking at the menu. Natalie hung up her cell phone as she got into her blue Dodge Ram. As she said, she arrived at Fatz within 5 minutes. She moved her long auburn hair from her face as she walked inside. A hostess came up to her, “Hello, may I help you?” “Yes ma’am, I am meeting two friends for lunch. They have already arrived, and have been seated.” the hostess smiled, “Miya, and Michelle are waiting for you. Please follow me.” The hostess took Natalie to their table. “Here you go.” said the hostess, handing Natalie a menu, and walking off. “Hey Miya, hey Michelle.” Natalie said sitting down and taking her name tag off of her shirt. “How’s it going Natalie?” Michelle asked placing her menu on the table. “A lot,” she said taking a deep breath, “School will be starting back soon, and I still have to go get my books, and start my before semester assignments.” “Don’t worry I am right there with you. Remember I start my freshman year at Winthrop this year. I have to do the same thing.” Miya said signaling for the waitress. When the waitress came, they placed their orders, and Miya asked if they could make a burger and fries to go before they left for Mark. The waitress left and their conversation started up again. “So Natalie have you talked to that guy, Jason, at the Smokey Bones yet?” asked Miya. “Yeah we are going on a date tonight after we get off from work.” Natalie said smiling. “Your going to have to call us and tell us how it went, ok Natalie?” Michelle said as the waitress came with their drinks. “Don’t worry I will.” smiled Natalie as she took a sip from her drink. “So what about you Michelle? Got any guy on your mind?” asked Natalie. “Yeah actually I do.” answered Michelle. “Well who is it?” asked Miya. “His name is Randy, and he is going to be at the same high school as me.” Michelle said smiling. Miya and Natalie rested their chins on their hands, getting closer to Michelle. “And what else? Are you going out?” Miya asked eagerly. “What does he look like Michelle?” asked Natalie. Michelle laughed, “Ok, I see you two are very interested.” Miya and Natalie just nodded their heads. Michelle smiles as she answers their questions, “Randy and I met at school orientation, and he asked me out. I said ok, because he was really nice and looked even better. One date lead to another, and so we decided to start going out. But Randy has black hair, dark green eyes, about 6’5”, and has a silver corvette.” Miya and Natalie smile as Michelle finished giving the description of randy. As the waitress brought their food, Natalie asks Miya, “So Miya, I have told you about Jason, and Michelle told you about Randy. Why don’t you tell us about the guy in your life.” “I don’t have one.” Miya said taking a bite out of her sandwich, “What? What do you mean you don’t have one?” asked Michelle. “Just what I said, I don’t have a guy in my life right now.” Miya said calmly. “Oh..” Michelle and Natalie said at the same time. Miya, Michelle, and Natalie continued talking as they finished eating their lunch. When they were paying a waitress brought Miya Mark’s lunch. After saying thank you, Miya walked outside with Natalie, and Michelle. “See you later.” Miya said getting into her truck and before she drove off. She pulls into Sam Goody, and walks in. After setting her bag and coat behind the counter, she knocks on Mark’s office door. “Come in.” he said from inside. Miya turned the knob and walked in. “I’m back, and brought your lunch.” she said standing in front of his desk. Mark looked up from his papers smiling, “Thanks Miya.” “Your welcome, Mark.” she said handing him the bag. As he took the bag, as Miya turned to leave, he said, “Chelsea left early, so can you look after the counter?” “Sure, I can look after the counter.” she said walking out of his office. After grabbing a magazine from her bag, she sits on the stool behind the counter, and starts looking at the magazine. As she turned the pages of the magazine, the sound of a motorcycle, caught her attention. She looked up from the magazine just as the driver walked in through the stores doors. The driver walked right past Miya at the counter, but as he past he smiled at her, before then walking to the CDs. Miya looked back down at her magazine, trying to get the image of his smile, and his cool blonde hair out of her head. Turning the page again, she looks up to see the guy set three CDs down on the counter. “Hey,” he said, “Miya.” looking at her name tag. Miya closed the magazine, and pushed it aside. “Hi. Will this be all?” she asked ringing the CDs up. As she rung them up, she noticed that they were her three favorite bands, Slipknot, Foo Fighters, and System of a Down. “Yeah that will be all.” he said handing Miya the money. As she took the money, their hands touched, quickly Miya pulled her hand back, and placed the money in the register. “Here is your change, sir.” she said handing him his change. “The name is Alex, not sir.” Alex said smiling at her as he took the money. Again their hands touched, but Alex hold her hand. They both look down at their hands, and then back up at each other. Alex lets go of Miya’s hand, and Miya puts his CDs in a bag and then hands the bag to him. “Come again, Alex.” she said as he took the bag. “Thanks Miya. I might just do that.” he said as he walked out the door. He got on his red motorcycle, Miya watched him as he put his black helmet on. He looked up and saw her starring. He smiled as he flipped the dark glass face plate down, and drove off. Miya smiled and looked back down at the magazine. When Miya’s shift ended, she grabbed her bag and coat from behind the counter before she walked out of the store. On her way home she couldn’t get her mind off of Alex. “Why do I keep seeing him when I close my eyes?” she asked herself. To help get her mind off of Alex, she turned the volume up on her radio, so that her Linkin Park CD was blaring. As she stopped at a stop light she looked to her right, outside the window. A familiar sound of a motorcycle could be heard over Chester’s singing. The bike pulled right up beside Miya, on the right. She turned her stereo down as the driver looked to his left into Miya’s truck. The driver flipped his dark glass face plate up, revealing his cool blonde hair and smile. “It’s Alex.” she said surprised. She rolled down the passenger side window, “Hey Alex.” she said. “Hi Miya” he said playing with his gears. As the light changed to green, Alex said bye to Miya. He flipped his face plate down, and turned to the right. Miya laughed as she drove off, after rolling the window back up, she turned the radio back up. Soon she reached her apartment, and set her keys on the table as she walked in. She got something to eat, before she took a shower, and then got ready for bed. Sitting up under her sheets, she started writing on her stories, as her stereo played another on of her CDs. Miya again fell asleep with her story beside her, candles burning, and the stereo playing.

Chapter 2 Weeks passed, and every couple of days Alex would come into the store. Miya looked forward to him coming, not once did more than four days pass, without him coming in. when he came in Miya would help him find something, and they would talk. They found out a lot about each other, and they had a lot in common. Once school started, Miya wasn’t able to work everyday. But when she did work, Alex always came in. Miya thought it was kinda strange that he knew when she did work, and didn’t. Since the store didn’t give out their employee’s work schedules. After awhile it didn’t even cross her mind, all she cared about was that he knew, and he came. For an entire week, Miya had to call in sick, because she was to sick to go to work or school. As the week drug on, Miya dreaded ever minute. Lying in her bed, she looked at the clock, the red lights outlined 10:34 A.M. “I was supposed to be at work almost forty minutes ago.” she said turning over on her back, looking up at the white ceiling. Her eyes slowly started to close, when a knock at the door stopped them. Miya pulled herself out of the bed and walked to the door. As she opened the door, her eye caught a glimpse of a familiar black trench coat turning the corner down the hall. Miya, about to go find the person, looks down to see a half dozen white roses sitting in a black vase on the floor in front of her door. She picked them up, and as she walked back into the apartment, she held them to her nose. After closing the door, she sets them on a table in her bedroom, as she arranged the roses a card fell to the floor. “A card?” she said picking it up. The card read: Please get well soon. Love, An Angel Admirer Miya smiled, “But who is the Angel Admirer?” she said placing the card next to the vase. She climbed back in bed, as she laid under the blankets, she started to drift off to sleep. The next morning, Saturday, Miya got out of the bed and went to work. She thought that Alex probably wouldn’t come into the store, since she has been sick and her schedule got switched around. Walking into the store Mark stopped her, “Miya, you have delivery in my office on my desk.” “Ok, Mark thanks.” she said starting to walk to the back, to Mark’s office. “Oh, and you can work behind the counter today.” he said before helping a customer. Miya walked into Mark’s office, and looks on his desk expecting a box or something of the sort. Instead on the front of the desk in a black vase, there were half a dozen white roses with black tips. She walks over to the desk and picks up the vase, “More roses?” she said looking at them. Another card fell onto the desk, putting the vase down she picks up the card. Glad your back, it’s not the same without you. Love, An Angel Admirer “Who is the Angel Admirer?” she said picking the vase up and walking out to the counter. Miya places the vase on the counter beside her, as she started working. Work wasn’t that busy, so she took out her notebook and started to write her stories. The song playing on the intercom changed to one of her favorite Slipknot songs, and she paid no attention to her surroundings. Her head over her notebook, her hand quickly moving across the paper, and her mind on the song and her story, Miya didn’t hear the ding of someone walking through the door. She continued writing, with her head moving with the rhythm of the song as the person stood in front of her. “Who are the roses from?” the person asked. Miya stopped writing and looked up, her eyes met his, “Hey Alex. The roses are from someone. All the card said was An Angel Admirer, see.” she said handing him the card. He took the card, and as he read the card he smiled, “Do you know who the Angel Admirer is?” She shook her head, “No, I don’t. But yesterday I got half a dozen plain white roses in a black vase and that card was signed An Angel Admirer also. It was on the floor in front of my apartment door.” she said as she took the card back from Alex. “Well seems someone really likes you.” he said looking at Miya as she stared at the card. “I guess so, but who?” “Don’t worry you’ll find out sooner or later. Now care to help me find Sum 41’s new CD?” he asked her. “Sure.” she said putting the card in her pocket and hopping off the stool. Miya walked from behind the counter, and over to the CDs, Alex following behind. He closely watched as she flipped through the CDs and her hair fell in her face. “When will she find out that the Angel Admirer is me? But will she accept the truth about me?” he quietly mumbled under his breath. “Found it!” Miya said holding the CD up and moving her hair behind her ear. She walked behind the counter and rung it up. She handed him the bag, as he handed her the money. “Thanks Miya, I’m glad you not sick anymore. See you later.” he said with a smile before leaving. “Me too.” she whispered as she looked back down at her notebook. Her shift ended, and she packed her notebook, and grabbed the vase. She clocked her time card out and walked out to her truck. Miya placed the vase and her bag in the backseat, then closed the back door. She climbed into the front seat and drove home. Walking down the hall, trying to get her keys out, she didn’t pay any attention to the black vase filled with half a dozen black roses with white tips in front of her door. As she got to the door, the vase right between her feet, her keys fell. Looking down she sees the other vase, “Even more roses?” she said picking up her keys. Once she opened the door, and set the vase she got from work down, along with her bag, she picked up the newest arrival and walked back inside. “These and the others from today are kinds I have never seen before.” she said setting them down beside the white ones with black tips. “Now, where is the card for these?” she said looking around the stems. In the middle there sat a small red card. Come to Club 96 tonight at 8 P.M. Love, An Angel Admirer “Should I go?” she said placing the card on the table. “I’ll call Natalie, and see what she thinks.” Miya walks over to the phone, and dials Natalie’s number. “Hey this is Natalie! Who is this?” Natalie asked picking up her phone. “Hi, Natalie, it’s Miya. I need some advice.” “Ok, shoot.” Natalie answered back. “In the past two days, I have received 3 sets of half dozen roses. There is no name on the card but Angel Admirer. But the last card said come to Club 96 at 8 tonight, and I don’t know if I should go.” Miya said looking at the roses on her table. “What do you mean, you don’t think that you should go? Miya, are you out of your mind? Go! Go!” Natalie said in her normal energetic voice. “Alright, ok. Natalie calm down. I’ll go, I’ll go.” Miya said laughing at Natalie’s eagerness. “Good, I’ll be over in ten.” Natalie quickly said before hanging up. “Wait, in ten? What do you mean?” Miya asked as the dial tone filled the ear part of the phone. She stares at the phone and then placed it back on the charger. “Maybe I should of called Michelle instead. Natalie was scaring me on the phone and now she is coming over? I better prepare myself, but why is she coming over?” she asked herself as she walked into the living room. “6:s8, I got about an hour and a half.” she said looking at the clock as she stood leaning up against the window. With her forehead pressed up against the glass, she looked out it and sighed. The silence in the apartment ended quickly, due to a knock at the door. Miya walked over to her door to be overrun by not only Natalie, but Michelle too. Rushing by Miya, Natalie and Michelle run straight into her room. Miya walks into her bedroom to see them rummaging through her closet. “What in the world are you two doing?” she asked as a shirt was thrown past her. “We’re getting your outfit together. What do you think we are doing?” Natalie said moving clothes to the side. “Got it!” yelled Michelle. “Got what?” asked Miya. “The perfect outfit.” answered Michelle. “And I got the shoes.” added Natalie. They put the clothes and shoes in her hands and pushed her into the bathroom. “Now hurry and take your shower, then get dressed.” said Natalie turning the shower on. They quickly walked out the bathroom, and closed the door leaving Miya standing in the bathroom, trying to catch up. She set her clothes on the counter and took her shower. When she finished, she stared down at the clothes picked out for her. “I forgot I had this outfit.” she said putting it on. “Damn, I look better in it now, than when I bought it.” she said looking into the mirror. She had on a red and black trimmed tank top with two silver chains across her bare stomach connecting her top to her matching skirt. She laced up her black and red boots before she styled her hair and put her jewelry on. Fixing her eye liner, Michelle started knocking on the door, “You finished yet?” she asked. “Almost, Michelle. I have to finish my make up.” replied Miya. “Ok, we’ll be in the living room.” Michelle said as she walked into the living room. Miya finished her make up and put her trench coat on before she walked out of the bathroom. Natalie and Michelle jump up from the couch when Miya walked in. “Now that looks good.” Natalie said happily. Michelle nodded in agreement, “Ok you better get going you got 15 minutes to get there.” said Michelle handing Miya her keys and phone. Michelle and Natalie pushed Miya out her door and into the hallway before she could say anything. They slammed the door as she turned around, and locked it. One of them slipped the three cards under the door. She picked them up and slowly walked to the parking lot.

Chapter 3 Upon reaching her truck, she started having second thoughts, what if it’s a practical joke? He might try to hurt me. Why am I doing this? These questions kept repeating themselves over and over again in her mind as she drove to the club. The truck was silent, as it maneuvered through the roads, no music or anything, just the sound of the engine. Miya pulled into the parking lot of the club, now dark, the neon lights flashed through the windows, and music pounded the ground around it. Lucky to find a spot, Miya parked her truck and locked it before heading inside. Getting inside she looked at her phone, “I made it here in 8 minutes! That’s almost a 20 minute drive too. Damn, it didn’t feel like I was speeding.” she said putting her phone back into her pocket, “I got a few minutes before 8 o’clock. I’m going to get a drink.” She made her way across the crowded dance floor to the bar. Sitting on a stool she ordered a shot of whiskey. Shooting the drink down she placed the glass upside down on the bar. Her finger traced the bottom of the glass, as she watched the people on the dance floor start to mosh. The band on stage was really good, but all that could be seen of them was when the spotlights flashed over them. Starring back down at her glass, watching her finger trace the glass. Her mind began to wonder who the angel admirer was. Guys streamed into her mind, but she kept making up excuses why it couldn’t be them. Alex appeared in her mind, she wished it was true, but he was the one that she thought would never be the admirer. Her eyes looked that of glass as they stared at the glass. The bartender looked at her as if she was in a trance. He was drying a glass while she sat in front him, “Are you ok?” Miya didn’t mean to be rude but she didn’t answer him. She was still lost in her own thoughts. The club went silent as his voice reached her ears. The people talking, screaming, the band playing and singing, was drowned out as he spoke, “Hey Miya.” She looked up from her glass, and turned around on the stool. “Hi Alex, how are you doing?” she asked him as her mind wondered if it was really possible that he could be the admirer. She hoped he was, but knew it wasn’t possible. “I’m good, you look like your waiting for someone.” he said sitting down on a stool beside her, “Who are you waiting for?” he added. Miya knew that he wasn’t her admirer, due to the fact that he asked her who she was waiting on. “I don’t know, I got another card telling me to be here at this time. At first I was hesitant, but decided to come anyways.” she said making sure not to say anything about Natalie and Michelle pushing her into coming. “Oh, so you haven’t found out who he is yet. I thought for sure you would of by now.” he said in a low disappointed voice. “I know, I thought I would know by now too.” she said looking down at her glass again. They were both silent for a few minutes still keeping the silence between them, Alex got up. Miya didn’t move, or say anything, but she felt really weird at the same time. Alex stood behind Miya, without her knowing, he whispered in her ear, “You look beautiful.” he kissed her cheek and placed a white and black tipped rose in front of her on the bar, before he walked away. Miya picked up the rose with her left hand and held her cheek with her right. She had a look of pure shock on her face, but she still stood up. Her eyes searched for Alex in the crowd, but couldn’t find him. Miya put a five dollar bill on the bar for her drink and tip, and went out to the parking lot. Just as her heel touched the cement, she heard the engine of a motorcycle start up, and drive off. She sighed and walked to her truck. There leaning up against the grill of her truck was Alex. “Alex? I thought that was your bike I heard drive off.” He smiled, “I was wondering if you were going to come out or not.” he stood up and walked over to her. She was happy he hadn’t left, but her body began to tremble as he walked towards her. To her time seemed to have slowed down, so she could watch his every move. His sweet gentle smile, his cool blue eyes, and short blonde hair mesmerized her. The faint sound of three bikes awoke Miya, and Alex’s smile disappeared. He had stopped and was looking towards the source of the sound. Miya did the same, and saw three figures on motorcycles riding towards them. The drivers picked up speed, and the one in front pulled out a gun, as did the other two. She froze at what she was seeing. To make things even more of a surprise they began shooting at her and Alex. But before she had time to react, pain shot through her body. She felt as if she couldn’t breath, as she looked down. Miya placed her hand on her torso, and than looked at her palm. It was covered in blood, and she was a loss for words. Alex looked over at her just before she collapsed. “Miya!” he screamed trying to run towards her. The bikers surrounded him, with the barrels of their guns pointed at him. Enraged, Alex pulls two uzies from under his trench coat. The three figures open fire just as Alex did. Somehow he managed to dodge the bullets but his aim was perfect and precise. All three riders dropped their guns and fell off their bikes dead. Cold crimson blood began to pour out of the biker’s gun shot wounds and onto the pavement. Alex quickly put the guns in their holsters under his trench coat, and ran over to the unconscious Miya. He kneeled beside her and lifted her head and was hesitant to touch her wound. He looked around and knew people would soon begin to gather. He picked her up gently, and somehow jumped to the roof of a building in one leap. He looked down and saw people coming out of the club. He had left just in time, he sighed and looked at Miya in his arms. He lent down and kissed her forehead. Not wanting her to suffer anymore, he began to run and jumped to another roof. He was relieved he knew how to roof jump. Alex laid her on a bed and left the room for a minute, when he returned he had a box and water. Time passed and he removed the bullet from her torso, cleaned the wound, and wrapped a bandage around her torso. Miya woke up later and couldn’t see anything. The room was pitch black, but she tried rubbing her head but she wasn’t able to raise her arm about her chest. Pain once again shot through her body causing her to tense up and flinch. She looked to her right hoping to be able to see something. All she could see was his blonde hair, and his white skin, as he slept. She felt the warmth and softness of his cheek with the back of her hand, and a small smile appeared on her face. Alex smiled and his hand grabbed Miya’s. She gasped but her torso was still sore so it hurt. He opened his eyes and looked at her. “I’m…I’m sorry, Alex.” she said stuttering, “I didn’t mean to….” He stopped her from continuing by placing his finger to her lips. “Shh..it’s ok. Don’t worry about it, Miya.” he said sweetly looking into her eyes. He removed his finger from her lips, as she looked back into his eyes. His eyes shifted from her eyes to her lips, and then back to her eyes. She swallowed hard as he propped himself up on his elbow so he was looking down at her. His eyes kept shifting between her eyes and her lips. She wanted him to kiss her, she yearned for his soft lips to be pressed against hers. Alex’s smile grew, “As do I, Miya.” The room was still pitch black but she could see him clearly. But one question seemed to stay in her mind how did he know what she was thinking? She didn’t say anything, she just kept looking into his shifting eyes. “Don’t worry about it Miya. You’ll find out later.” he said softly moving a piece of hair from her face. He couldn’t stand being so close to her yet not being able to kiss her and hold her. He slipped his hand under the two small chains that attached her top to her skirt. Instead of feeling her soft skin he felt the bandages he had put on her earlier. Miya had tensed up as his hand stopped on her gun shot wound. “It’s ok….” he said calming her. She nodded and her body relaxed. Miya bit her bottom lip and flinched as he pressed down on her wound. Normally blood would soak the bandage due to the pressure re-opening the wound. But not one drop filled the bandage. Alex smiled and unwrapped the bandage from around her torso. Curious, Miya lifted her head up and looked down. There was no blood, wound, or scar. It had completely disappeared leaving no trace of existence behind. She let her head back down and looked at Alex, “Thank you, I don’t know…” she stopped when he collapsed beside her. “Alex? Alex!” she said sitting up, trying to wake him. His breathing was normal, but Miya was still worried about him. She laid down right next to him, so she faced him, and their bodies touched. She picked up his arm and placed it around her waist. “Thank you.” she whispered. Miya lightly kissed his lips and fell asleep. A little while after Miya had fallen asleep, Alex opened his eyes. He didn’t say anything, but he was slightly surprised as to how she positioned him and herself together. Hoping not to wake her, he pulled her even closer and tighter against his body. He placed a small warm and gentle kiss on her forehead. “You look that of an angel when you sleep Miya. I just wish you were mine forever.” he whispered looking at her sleeping his arms. She moaned lightly, causing Alex to tense. When he saw she was still asleep, he kissed her forehead again and closed his eyes. He held her close to him and peacefully drifted off to sleep.

I just went ahead and changed the name from Ami to Miya. People were getting confused, and so I just went ahead and changed it. Hope you like chapter 4!Chapter 4 Miya was the first to wake up, the room was still dark, and she didn’t know what time it was. But it didn’t seem to matter to her, because Alex was next to her, still holding her tight. His grip on her hadn’t loosened though he slept. She didn’t move to make sure not to wake him. She watched his chest expand as he slept and the peacefulness on his face. It was a long time that Miya watched him sleep. Alex surprised her by tightening his arms around her waist. She held her breath and looked at his face. A small smile crept across his face and he opened his eyes. He looked down at her, “Don’t worry. You didn’t wake me.” He noticed Miya trying to sit up, so he let go of her waist. She sat up and looked down at him, “How do you know what I’m thinking, Alex?” Propping himself up with his elbow, he sighed. Alex looked up at Miya’s face, “I should tell you something, Miya.” his face held no comfort or emotion. It was completely unable to read. “What is it?” looking at him she wondered what it could be to cause Alex to look like that. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Releasing it, he opened his eyes, “You know your Angel Admirer?” “It’s you, I know.” Alex shook his head, “Yeah it’s me, but you don’t understand the entire meaning behind ‘Angel Admirer’.” Miya interrupted before he could continue, “You think of me as an angel?” Again Alex shook his head, “Once again only partially correct.” he sat up in front of Miya. “Well what is the other part, I am missing, Alex?” He took both her hands in his, “Miya, you love me right? Right when I came in the store that first time something drew you to me. And you’ll love me no matter what right?” his voice was straight forward but Miya could feel his hands trembling with fear as they held hers, or at least fear is what she thought it was. She could never say it to any guy except her father, but she knew in her heart that she did. She did love him, though she hadn’t known him long, she knew she loved him with all her being. “Yes Alex, I do love you. Nothing can change that.” she leaned in and kissed his cheek, “Now what are you trying to say?” Alex smiled at the feeling of her lips touching his skin. Her smell had filled his nose and filled his body warming his heart. But his smile disappeared as he started to speak, “I’m not like other guys, what I’m trying to say is…” he sighs and lets go of Miya’s hands. “Don’t be afraid, it’s easier if I show you other than just to tell you.” A confused look on her face, Miya watched Alex stand. Her eyes widened at the sight of him unbuttoning his shirt, “Alex, what are you doing?” “It’s not that Miya, just wait a second I need to show you something.” swallowing hard, Miya watched him slip his shirt off. His stomach was tight and his abs stood out. Fighting down a whimper Miya looked adoringly at his chest, the muscles and tightness. Alex couldn’t help but grin, “You’re enjoying this way to much aren’t you?” though he knew what she was thinking, he wanted her to say it. “Why the hell would I not? I’m in a room with a guy that is hotter than anything in the world with no shirt!” she said a little excited. Chuckling, “Heh, I didn’t think that you’d enjoy that part that much.” taking a small breath, “But this is what I want to show you, Miya…” he stood at the edge of the bed, Miya sitting on the bed looking at him. She saw nothing at first, but then emerged slowly from his back, two feathered wings. Both extremely different from the other. Once white with an old untranslatable gold writing on it, and the other black with a different but similar writing in red. Her jaw fell open and her eyes widened. “This is what the other part of Angel Admirer means.” turning around it showed the wings where actually apart of him. He looked back at Miya, “I’m an angel in a sense.” “An angel in a sense? What does that mean?” That was to his surprise, he thought she would be at least the slightest bit hysterical, yet she wasn’t. At first she was surprised, but she was calm and spoke with the same kind of tone. Turning back around so he faced her, he answered her question. “I am what some call a half-breed. Part Angel, and part Fallen Angel. Hence the white wing and the black. Being what I am, gives me certain so-called abilities. Like mind-reading, and healing others. I pocess others but none that should be spoken of at the moment.” he stopped and decided to let Miya take it all in before continuing. Silent for a few minutes, she broke the silence, “So your not just crazy then. But one thing I don’t exactly understand.” “And what is it that you don’t understand?” his wings folding he put his shirt back on but left it unbuttoned. “The fact that once you came into the store the first time I was drawn to you, like you said earlier.” her eyes shifted from the exposed part of his chest and stomach to his face. Alex knew that she would ask, there was no doubt in that. But he still did not know what to tell her, and how much to tell her. He sat on the edge of the bed, his head hidden in his hands that rested with his elbows on his knees. Miya knew something was wrong, and crawled to the end and sat beside him. She placed her hand on his shoulder in comfort, “What’s wrong, Alex?” her head lowered and tilted trying to look at his. It was muffled what he said, and she couldn’t hear him. “What did you say? I can’t hear you through your hands.” He lowered his hands and looked at Miya, his eyes were filled with tears that he was trying to fight back. One escaped and started down his cheek. Wiping the tear with her thumb she continued with her hand back to his hair. It was soft to touch, and loose in her hand. Moving it back, she looked at his face, “Now what did you say?” “I didn’t want you to see me cry.” another tear started to roll down his face. Miya went to wipe it, just as he did. His hand got there after hers, but he opened his hand and pressed hers against his cheek, causing her hand to open as well. He tilted his head slightly feeling her soft hand against his face, his eyes closed. Miya just had to smile, she rubbed her thumb along his cheek bone. “What makes you cry?” He moved his and, and looked away. “Alex…what is it?” she asked leaning towards him to see his face. His voice was filled with emotion, sadness, despair, even doubt. “After all these years of me searching for you, I never thought about how I would interfer with your life here. I just wanted…” he looked at Miya, tears streaming down his face, “I just wanted my Miya, my angel, my only love back.” he grabbed her shoulders and looked into her eyes. “That’s why Miya, that’s why you were drawn to me. You were an angel, killed and reborn human. You and I were lovers, My love for you never died, it still grows even now.” This was a bigger shock to her than seeing Alex’s wings, and finding out he was an angel or half-breed angel, whatever. Miya had no recollection of her life as a born angel, or anything, not even Alex. All she knew was that he was here, now, with her, and she loved him no matter what he was, what she used to be, of was now. She just loved him more than anything in the world. Tears started to roll down her face, Alex looked at her and wiped the tears, “Why are you crying?” A smile appeared on her face, “I love you so much, yet…” her smile disappeared as she continued, “yet I don’t remember anything. I wish I did, I truly do, Alex. I wish I could remember.” Alex wiped the other tears from her face, “I know, Miya, I know. Maybe you will in time.” he put his arms around her shoulders, pulling her into his arms. His cheek pressed against hers, their tears mixing. He closed his eyes taking hi her smell, and just remembering this moment forever. When they both cried and confessed their lover for each other, and just held each other. Alex’s blonde hair trickled Miya’s nose, and she couldn’t help but let out a small laugh. She moved the strand of hair from her nose, but it was being stubborn and kept falling back down. She sighed in frustration and pulled back some from Alex. He looked at her worried, “What’s wrong, Miya?” “Your hair keeps tickling my nose.” she ran her hands through his hair pulling it all out of his face. For the first time she clearly saw his eyes. They were a deep blue, and she was instantly lost in them. Alex looked back into Miya’s eyes. So many years, of searching for her and he finally found her. He loved her so much he knew he would never be able to express it verbally. He longer for her touch and to hold her against him, for so long. Losing control, he quickly leaned in and kissed her deeply and passionately.

Chapter 5 The warmth of his kiss, the feeling of safety, she felt as Alex pulled her closer was tremendous. Her eyes closed Miya kissed him back with just as much passion as she slipped her hands up his chest. She could feel every muscle, and his chest expanding as her breathed. Sliding her hands up still she reached his shoulders. She took his shirt off that she regretted him putting back on. Miya felt Alex’s tongue begging for entrance, and she granted his wish. He slipped his tongue in her mouth, and his tongue met hers. They enter twinned as Alex gently eased Miya back on the bed. He was weightless on top of her and his hands trailed under the chains of her outfit. Feeling her soft skin made his body shiver. Alex fiddled with the chains clasps and finally got them to detach from her top. He broke their interlocked lips and pulled Miya’s shirt off. Throwing her top to the floor he looked down at her, he had a look of pure hunger in his eyes. He liked his lips as Miya looked up at him and bit her bottom lip. He leaned down, and pecked her lips playfully. His hands trailed up her torso, and felt the fabric of her bra. Sliding his hands around her sides, he started to kiss her again, their tongues massaging each others. Alex’s hands reached her back and went to unclasp her bra. Miya slipped her hands up his shoulders and down his back. She felt the heat from his skin and the softness of the feathers on his wings. Just as she felt her bra loosen from Alex unclasping it, her cell phone started going off. They both sighed as Alex lifted his head, breaking the kiss. Miya turned her head in the darkness towards the sound of her cell phone. She remembered she put it in her coat pocket so she knew her trench coat was close. Both Miya and Alex’s breathing were short and fast. Miya swallowed, “I don’t need to answer it.” she looked up at Alex, “I got voicemail.” “Are you sure?” He asked looking down at her with those same hungry eyes. She nodded, “I’m sure.” her cell stopped ringing at that moment, “See.” Alex shrugged and went to kiss her again, his hands already moving to remove her bra, when her cell phone started going off again. Alex sighed in frustration, and got up off of Miya. He reached out in the darkness and grabbed her coat. Miya sat up holding her bra so it wouldn’t fall off her. Alex took her cell phone out to her, “Answer it. If they are calling back then it must be important.” She sighed and took the phone, “Alright.” she flipped it up and answered, “This better be good.” “Where the hell are you?!” a voice answered back. Miya looked at her phone and then put it back to her ear, “Who the hell is this and who are you to ask me where the hell I am?” “It’s Michelle, Miya! Now where are you? Why didn’t you go home last night?” Miya took a deep breath and saw Alex putting his shirt back on. He had an agitated look upon his face. “I had a problem, but everything is fine now. Or at least it was till you called.” Miya heard Michelle gasping over the phone, “Hey I’m just worried. But your ok right?” She nodded and remembered Michelle couldn’t see that, “Yeah I’m fine, Michelle.” “I’ll take you to go get your truck.” Alex said standing behind Miya, reclasping her bra. Miya was about to say no but Michelle interrupted, “Whose that? I hear a guy! Miya? Where are you and who are you with? Is that the Angel Admirer?” she said in a sly tone. Miya smiled, “Yes it is, Michelle. Now bye.” she hung up and turned her phone off. Alex handed her, her top, “Brace yourself. I’m turning the lights on.” She flinched and tried to let her eyes get used to the light. When they did, she finally saw the room. The carpet was white, as well as the walls. The bed that she sat on was laden in black silk, it matched the black curtains. All that was in the room was the bed. She stood up, her shirt in hand, “Alex…” He stopped at the door and looked at her, “Yeah Miya?” “I don’t want to go.” Alex closed his eyes, remembering what her lips tasted like, “I don’t want you to go either.” looking at her as she put her shirt back on. “But Michelle seems to be worried about you.” “Who cares: I’m 19, I can take care of myself. Besides I feel safer when I’m with you.” Alex let go of the door knob, he walked over to Miya, embracing her. He kissed her forehead, “I know, Miya, but…” he looked down at her face, “but, we’ll have plenty of time to be together. Lets just get you home right now.” He look her hand and lead her to the door. Miya held tight to Alex as her drove his motorcycle through town. He had let her wear a black helmet similar to his. It was about 6 p.m. when they pulled into the parking lot of Club 96. It felt like forever since she last stood in the parking lot. Alex said he would follow her home after she got her truck. She gave Alex the helmet back and unlocked her truck. The police had down a good job of cleaning up the mess from the night before. Miya drove home in her truck quietly. She just kept looking in her rear view mirror looking back at Alex behind her. Parking outside her apartment building, she got out her truck thinking Alex would stop and make sure she made it and leave. She was wrong, he pulled up behind her truck, and turned his bike off. She looked at him, a little confused. “What? It’s customary for the guy to walk the girl to her door after a date.” he smiled walking up to her. “The date was pretty interesting.” she smiled back. “But I like it.” he took her hand and started into the building. “I liked it too.” “Good, that is what I hoped for.” They reached Miya’s door after the elevator ride up. Miya stood infront of her door, “Are you going to kiss me bye?” Alex smiled, “It’s customary.” he leaned in and kissed her. They said bye and he watched her walk in before he turned and left.
