I'm not sure how many of you have every played the game Fire Emblem where you play through the game as a tactition trying to help out a group a warriors, archers, mages...ect through their quest. For thoes of you that have I would hope that this would be espically enjoyable. For thoes of you that arn't I'm certian that you will still like the story.
Let's begin:
Chapter 1- A girl from the Plains.
“Ughhh…” The young man groaned as he began to sit up on the bed, only to be pushed down by unknown hands. “Are you awake?” A young female voice asked. The young man tried to respond but found his voice lacking and settled for simply opening his eyes. “Wh-where…wh-who?” The young man managed to stammer. His broken and parched voice was unable to properly articulate his questions. The young girl who was dressed in a blue robe grabbed a jug of water and slowly fed the young man some, while she tried to answer his questions. “I found you unconscious on the plains. I am Lyn of the Lorca tribe.” She mixed a little water from the jug with a drop of a vulnerary onto a small cloth before patting it across a gash that tore the skin above the young man’s right eye. “It looks like you were in a fight.” Lyn commented, while cleaning another wound on the young man’s left arm. “You have several good scratches here, but don’t fear nothing is mortal; you’ll be safe here with me.” Lyn stopped her cleaning and set the blood stained rag down on a nearby table. The young man again attempted to rise but was forced down by Lyn. “You’ve been injured recently and if you want your wounds to heal properly you’ll need to stay in bed, but here.” Lyn grabbed another pillow from a small pile of cushions at the foot of the bed and used it to prop up the young man’s head. “Thank you for your kindness Lyn. I am in your debt.” The young man’s voice was a lot clearer since the drink of water and he even favored Lyn with a small smile. Lyn returned the smile as she responded. “It was no trouble. Now that your awake would you mind answering a few questions of mine?” The young man shook his head and Lyn continued. “Who are you? Can you remember your name?” “Yes I can, my name is Matthew.” Lyn rubbed her chin for a second before responding. “Your name is Matthew? What an odd sounding name…but pay me no mind. It is a good name.” Matthew nodded. “I like your name as well. Lyn is a very beautiful name and it suits you.” Lyn blushed for a second, looking down to try to hid her embarrassment. “I see by your attire that you are a traveler. What brings you to the Sacae Plains? Would you share your story with me?” Matthew opened his mouth as though he was about to speak when a shrill scream overpowered his meager speech. Lyn immediately jumped off he bed and fingered the hilt of her Iron Sword as though to prove it’s continued existence. “What was that noise?” Lyn asked still facing the entryway to her hut. Matthew managed to prop himself up on his elbows before responding “It sounded like a woman screaming.” Lyn turned to face Matthew as though only just remembering that he was here. Matthew could tell that she was nervous as she continued to finger the hilt of her sheathed Sword. She took a deep breath before speaking.

“I’ll go see what’s happening. Matthew, wait here for me.” Lyn than rushed outside leaving Matthew behind in the hut. Matthew sat up the rest of the way wincing as the gash on his left arm pulsed with pain. Matthew rotated left and touched the floor with his legs breathing out a deep wounded sigh at the strength needed for that exertion. He took a quick look around the hut and noticed a pile of his belongings on the floor near the door. Both his knapsack and his Short Sword were still there. Before he could move any farther however Lyn rushed back in looking very flustered. “Oh, no! Bandits! They must have come down from the Bern Mountains!” Lyn began to pace back and worth around her small hut, talking far too fast for Matthew to get a word in edgewise. “They must be planning on raiding the local villages.” Lyn stopped for a moment and looked right in Matthew’s eyes. “I…I have to stop them!” Matthew stood up slowly and reached out for his Sword, only to be checked by Lyn. “If that’s all of them, I think I can handle them on my own. You’ll be safe in here Matthew.” Matthew shook his head and again made a grab for his Sword only to be pushed back onto the bed by Lyn. “Let me help you. I’ve been around a fight or two in my day.” “I can see that from your gashes. Do you really think in your condition that you can use a weapon?” Lyn raised her right eyebrow. “Well…maybe not. But perhaps I can help you in another way.” Lyn got off of him and stood up straight. “And what would that be?” Matthew stood up slowly and staggered over to his knapsack and quickly pulled out a small scroll of paper. “My mark of office.” Lyn took the paper and read it over quickly before looking at Matthew again with renewed respect. “I see… so you’re a strategist by trade. An odd thing to see in Sacae, but…” Matthew slipped the paper back into his pack and buckled on his Short Iron Sword. Lyn nodded her approval. “Very well than, we go together. But you’ll need this.” Lyn tossed him the half-empty vulnerary sack. “Drink that down before we go out. It’ll give you enough strength for the fight ahead.” Matthew nodded and pulled the stopper before quickly downing the sack’s worth of vulnerary. “Very well. We’ll go together!” Lyn dashed outside followed quickly by Matthew. They both ducked down in the large grasses of the Sacae Plains so that they were neigh invisible. “It looks like there’s just two of them. What should we do Matthew?” Matthew quickly judged the situation. “The bigger of the two is over by that hut yonder. He’s probably the leader; this guy over near us is probably his patsy. If we can sneak up on the weaker guy without him seeing us, we should be able to take him down fairly easily with the element of surprise. The other guy will notice us then and probably charge us in a rage. His anger will be his greatest weakness however and we should be able to gang up on him and take him down despite his size.” Lyn looked at him in wonder. “You’ve sized up this situation so quickly?” Matthew gave a small smirk. “I am also from the Plains. Come on, we must move quickly.” Lyn gave a small sneer the look of anger contorting her beautiful features. “Let’s close and attack!” The two friends moved through the tall weeds crawling on their bellies. An action that pained the injured Matthew greatly, but he kept his peace fearing to disturb their enemies. The two comrades crept up on the lone axe-wielding bandit who was turned away from them conversing with his leader in loud yells. “I don’t see why I have to do it!” “Because I’m bigger than you, you cretin! Now just find that woman!” The patsy turned around grumbling to himself and saw a ripple in the grass.

“Hay boss! I found-” Lyn sprung up from the grass whipping her sword from her sheath and in one quick slice she chopped the head off the Bandit’s Iron Axe. Shocked into submission the lesser of the two Bandits was frozen in place simply staring at his broken weapon leaving him easy prey for even a wounded strategist. Matthew stabbed his Short Sword into the man’s back and slashed across his spine. The Bandit screamed and fell to the ground paralyzed blood spurting from his wound screaming in pain. Lyn chopped off his head silencing the crippled man’s agony before cleaning off her blade and resheathing it. The Bandit leader stood up from his meal that he had been eating. Rising to his full height of well over six feet he stared out at the two young warriors who had killed his patsy. “Who do you two fools think you are!?! You think you can stand up to Batta the Beast?” He pulled a large Iron Axe off of its carrier on his back. The setting sun glistened off of his weapon as he gripped it in his hands. “Batta the Best, I knew I would see you again.” Replied Matthew as he and Lyn closed within twenty feet of the large Bandit. Batta’s eyes bulged when he beheld the strategist. “You! Damn you Matthew! How many times to I have to kill you!?!” Bellowed Batta as he charged the pair swinging his axe above his head. Matthew attempted to get into a fighting stance but his exhausted legs finally gave way beneath him and he collapsed onto one knee. Lyn seeing her friend stumble sidestepped and blocked the blow from the axe. The force of the blow sent her sprawling onto the ground. Matthew using the last of his strength sprung forward his Short Sword thrusting towards Batta’s bare chest. Batta saw the incoming blow but was unable to dodge it completely and Matthew slammed his blade into the right side of Batta’s chest. Batta gave a large grunt and backhanded Matthew sending him flying several feet to land in a small heap unconscious. Batta grasped the hilt of Matthew’s Short Sword and pulled it from his chest and turned to see Lyn standing upright her Iron Sword’s tip balanced on her left hand. “I don’t know what you did to Matthew in the past, but you’re here terrorizing people on the Sacae Plains, and I will put and end to you for that.” Batta attempted to swing his body around to meet the oncoming blow but was far too slow. Lyn’s body and blade shot forward as one moving faster than the eye could follow. Lyn’s Iron Sword pierced Batta’s black heart before he had even turned halfway around. Batta dropped his Axe and attempted to grasp the Iron Swords hilt. “What? How…How did you-” Batta slumped in a heap, dead. Lyn wiped the blood from her Iron Sword and resheathed it. Walking over to the unconscious strategist Lyn picked up his Short Sword and cleaned the blood off it before helping Matthew up, Matthew’s eyes flickered as he looked up at Lyn. “That was good work Matthew. Let’s go home.” Matthew nodded and fell back into unconsciousness. Lyn sighed and smiled. “Strategist, this is the second time I’ve found you unconscious on the Plains.”
“Ughhh…” Matthew groaned as he sat up in a now very familiar bed. Lyn smiled to see that he was all right. “Good Morning Matthew, you slept in very late today. That fight yesterday must have taken a lot out of you. Here, drink this.” Lyn passed a small sack of water over to Matthew who drank a big gulp before handing it back to Lyn. Lyn placed it on a small trunk in the back of her tent. While Matthew sat up, tenderly feeling out the bruise on his forehead, Lyn sat down on the pile of pillows next to the bed. “Say, Matthew… I want to talk to you about something.” Matthew turned to face Lyn as she continued. “You have some experience in the ways of war, I can see.” Lyn then paused for a moment as if willing herself to speak. Then with a deep breath she let it all out in a rush. “Would you allow me top travel with you?” Matthew rubbed his chin for a moment. “Well…I’m not sure. I suppose you’ll need to ask your parents first.” The look of expectation and hope died in Lyn’s eyes filled only by a look of sadness and regret. “You…want me to get permission from my parents. My…my mother and father…died six months ago.” “Oh Lyn I-” Matthew started but Lyn silenced him with a wave of her hand and than slowly continued her tale. “My people- the Lorca- they don’t…I’m the last of my tribe. Bandits attacked and…they killed so many people. My tribe was…scattered.” A tear ran from Lyn’s left eye down her cheek, but Lyn slowly but surely carried on her tale with only a little tremble in her voice. “My father was our chieftain, and I wanted to protect our people. But I was so young, and our people were old-fashioned. They wouldn’t follow a woman. No one would follow me.” Lyn closed her eyes and two more tears fell. “Sniff… I’m sorry, I’ve been alone for so long…” The tears started to fall more quickly and Lyn furiously wiped them away. “No. No more…I will shed no more tears.” Matthew moved over to the crying warrior and wrapped his arms around her. “Sometimes it’s okay to cry Lyn. You shed these tears for people you loved. Cry my friend; cry your eyes out. I’ll be here for you.” Lyn buried her head into Matthew’s shoulders and sobbed while Matthew held her gently, memories of his own dead family fleeting through his mind. After a time Lyn’s sobs subsided and she pulled back drying her red eyes. “Thank you. I’m better now.” She took a few deep breaths trying to get her breathing under better control. “Matthew?” “Yes Lyn?” “I want- I must become stronger, so that I may avenge my father’s death!” Lyn stood up then; her weakness vanished as he continued her speech. “Yesterday’s battle with Batta taught me something. I wont become stronger by sitting here alone.” She looked down at Matthew on the bed catching his eyes with her radiant blue orbs. “Matthew, tell me you’ll train me, that you’ll let me travel with you!” Matthew smiled and nodded. “It’s the least I can do after all the aid you’ve given me Lyn.” “You will? That’s wonderful! Thank you! Oh, thank you! We’ll be better off working together; I know it. You’ll be my master strategist, and I’ll be your peerless warrior!”

Matthew laughed and stood next to her grasping her hands in his own. “It’ll definitely be nice to have some company on my travels.” “We can do it! Right?” “Right.”
Chapter 2- Footsteps of Fate
Lyn pulled ahead of Matthew as the two raced along the well traveled dirt path leading to Bulgar the Capital of Sacae and the only real city in the whole of the largely nomadic region. Lyn gave out a small laugh as she pushed herself harder continuing to pull ahead of the panting strategist. Lyn slowed as she entered the town’s outskirts coming to a stop near a small inn. Lyn turned around and with a hand on her hip and a smirk on her face waited for Matthew to catch up. “Matthew! Over here!” She called out as Matthew finally caught up to her. “Guess…we finally…made it to…Bulgar…” Lyn nodded and smiled as she watched her strategist friend stick his head between he’s knees and take four deep gulps of breath before straightening back up. “Come on Matthew, let’s look around the city and see if we can find a place to stock up on supplies for our journey.” Matthew nodded still a little winded from trying to race Lyn. As the two moved down the moderately busy side street they came upon a tall stout youth wearing ornate green armor and carrying a lance, he sat upon a fine large horse and his brown eyes immediately twinkled upon spying the beautiful Lyn. Vaulting from the top of his horse the man landed directly in front of Lyn and Matthew blocking their path. The man made a sweeping motion with his lance before placing it upon his right shoulder attempting to strike a dashing pose. “Oh my heart!” He exclaimed the glint in his eyes still not diminishing. “What a dazzling vision of loveliness!” “What?” Asked Lyn shocked as she tried to push around the green knight while tugging on Matthew’s arm. “Wait, O beauteous one! Would you favor me with your name?” He leaned in close to Lyn almost pinning her against the wall of a nearby building, with a smirk he continued. “Or better yet your company?”

This is the other story I'm going to be working on and I'll switch off days with 'Fall of the Silver Millennium' Although today I should still be able to get to Silver Millennium.
Lyn stood up straight and returned the Knight's leer with defiant eyes. "Where are you from, sir Knight, that you would speak so freely to a stranger?" The Knight took a step back and gave a large broad smile that must normaly make girls hearts melt. "Ha! I thought you would never ask! I am from Lycia. I hail from the Caelin canton, home to men of passion and fire!" Lyn placed a hand on her hip and gave the brash young Knight a look that was pure attitude. "Shouldn't that be 'home to callow oafs with loose tongues'?" Matthew gave out a large gaffaw that seemed to temporarily wound the Knights pride. He quickly recovered however giving another million dollar smile. "Ooooh... You're even lovely when you're cruel." Lyn sighed and with a shove pushed the knight out of her way and started to head into the center of town. "Let's go Matthew. I've nothing more to say." Matthew followed behind her shaking his head at the knight's antics. "Wait please..." The knight called out behind them as the pair walked off. "Sain hold your tongue!" Called out another Knight this one wearing red armor who rode up behind the green Knight and quickly dissmounted. Sain turned to look at the dissmounting Red Knight and gave a contented smile. "Ah, Kent! My boon companion! Why so severe an expression?" Sain asked in mock curiosity; Kent sighed and stared down Sain's smile with a glare. "If your manner were more serious, I wouldn't have to be so severe! We still have a mission to complete, Sain!" Sain put on a wounded face and waved off Kent's comments while glancing down the road at the two companions. "I know that Kent. But just look at her, how could I have remained silent in the face of such beauty? It would have been disscourtious." 'What do you know of courtesy!?" Kent retored while rubbing his freohead with his right hand in an attempt to releave the stress of dealing with Sain. Neither of them noticed that Lyn and Matthew had begun to walk back towards the front enterence. "Excuse me! You're blocking the road. If you would be so kind as to move your horses..." Lyn began catching the attention of Sain and Kent. "Oh course. My apologies mam..." Kent gave a small bow and turned to look at Sain who with a small opressed sigh pulled his horse away from the front gate. Lyn smiled to be finaly shown some courtsey. "Thank you. You, at least seem honorable enough." Replied Lyn while glaring at Sain who simply smirked. When Lyn turned her head to glare at Sain, Kent did a double take. "Hm? Pardon me, but... I feel we've met before." "I beg your pardon?" Asked Lyn back on the defensive again. "Hey! No fair, Kent! I saw her first!" Sain yelled out stepping foreward but Matthew intercepted him before he could reach Lyn. "Step back man of Caelin... no reason to start anything here." Sain looked at Matthew in surprise as though only seeing him for the first time. Lyn however had had enough. "Tsk! It seems there are no decent men among Lycia's Knights! Let's go, Matthew! I've run out of patience!" Lyn stomped off through the gateway with Matthew following close behind. Sain was still in shock but Kent was highly disstressed. "Wait please! It's not like that." Kent sighed and rubbed his hand over his face before looking back over at Sain. "Sain you lout!" "Huh? Not like that? I thought you were..." Started Sain still all confused. "I am NOT you!!!" Kent yelled in anger while he turned and mounted his horse. "Come on we have to follow them. I suspect she might be-" "Might be our what? Wait...you don't think she's our mission?" Kent ignoring his compainion took off through the gate at a gallop while Sain was still struggling mounting back onto his horse. "Wait Kent!...sigh...always in a hurry that one."

Matthew and Lyn had carried on down the road only a few hundred yards before Lyn's keen ears picked up on a faint sound. She stopped for a second drawing the worry of her traveling compainion. "What is it Lyn..." Matthew started but Lyn held up her right hand silencing him and looked back over towards the town. It only took a few more seconds before her eyes bulged. "Matthew, Run!!! We're being persued!" Lyn took off at a sprint with her strategist friend only a few steps behind her. "Could it be thoes Knights from town?" Asked Matthew panting as he ran. Lyn shook her head before responding. "No... It's not them. These men are out for blood!" The two friends continued to race down the road only to be forced to a screeching halt when two big men stepped out from behind the Sacae plains grass at the edge of the road. "Oh no...it's a trap!" Said Lyn. Matthew unsheathed his small Iron sword and went back to back with Lyn. "There's three more comming up from behind us...give me a second to think, I'll get us out of this." The bigger of the two men in from took a few steps foreward brandishing a slightly rusted Iron Axe. "Heh heh hehhh... Well arn't you the pretty one! You're name is Lyndis, is it not?" Matthew thinking fast turned to face the odvious leader of the five men that now surrounded them. "Well in that you are misstakin my friend see...this girl's name is Lyn so odvisouly-" "What did you call me!" Lyn cried out in shock. "Who the heck are you to know such a name!?" The bandit didn't respond, he simply kept circling the pair of warriors talking to himself in low tones that the two had to strain to hear. "Such a waste an absolute waste. The things I'll do for gold...Ah, well. Time to die darlin'! Get her boys!" Matthew and Lyn went back to back and croached with their swords drawn. "There's too many of them for me. But I'll not surrender, are you with me Matthew?" 'To the end my friend!" Matthew yelled ready to charge the nearest bandit. Then suddenly the neighing of a horse caught the attention of the five bandits who broke the encircliment and gathered around their leader. A Knight wearing green armor charged around Lyn and Matthew and stood bewteen them and the startled bandits. "Whew... finaly caught up with you two." Said Sain while giving Lyn a quick smile before turning back to the bandits. "Such numbers against two such as these? Cowards, every one of you!" "You!" Yelled out Lyn in surprise. "You're from-" "We can discuss that later." Called out Kent as he brought his horse alongside of Lyn and Matthew. "It apears these ruffians mean to do you harm. If it's a fight they want, let them look to me!" Yelled Kent brandishing his sword. "Stand back Kent." said Sain waving his lance in Kent's direction. "I'll take care of this!" Kent and Sain glared at each other for a few seconds neither willing to back down while the Bandits stared dumbstruck at the pair of Caviliers. Lyn once again had had enough of the pair. "No! This is our fight! Stay out of our way!" Sain looked a little hurt that his show of heroism haddn't won him Lyn's regard. "Well...I can't just stand here and do nothing..." "I have a solution." Said Kent while looking at Matthew. "You there, you wear the garb of a traveling strategist, command us. I am Kent a Knight of Lycia. My half-wit of a companion here is Sain. We will follow your orders in this battle. Is this acceptable, milady?" Kent asked turning back to Lyn. Lyn smiled at Matthew who nodded his accent back.

"Yes, we agree. Matthew and I will lead! Let's go!" The four then charged the group of bandits who in the midst of the confusion had positioned themselves in the plain and beyond a little stream with two bridges. Matthew quickly shouted orders as the group charged in the midst of the bandits. "Lyn! Sain! Take the bandit directly in front of us! Kent hold our right flank or that other bandit will slip in behind us. Once that is accomplished Kent and Sain will take out the man to the south while Lyn and I go north. Than we'll both cross the stream and finish off what is left of them!" Lyn charged the bandit in front of her dealing him a massive set of blows that wounded him greatly and set him up to be run down by Sain's lance thrust. Sain then giving Lyn a little bow went to help his comrade Kent who was fighting another bandit to the south. "Matthew come on!" Yelled Lyn as she recklessly charged the next bandit. "Lyn No!" Called out the strategist as he raced to catch up with his friend. Lyn's momentum allowed her to strike a deep blow along the bandit's side splitting him open and causing a rush of blood to cover the ground. The bandit wasn't finished however and using his collasal strength he whipped his axe around and stuck Lyn a mighty blow in the back that thrust Lyn offbalance landing her in a heap covered in the bandit's blood. As the bandit moved to decapitate her Matthew who had finaly caught up swung his blade and neatly dissconected his head from his shoulders. There was blood everywhere but Matthew was unconcerned with the deceased Bandit and rushed to Lyn's side. Matthew's quickly grabbed one of Lyn's Vulenary kits and started to apply it to the massive gash that ran along her back. As Matthew bandaged her up Lyn began to stir and tried to push herself off the ground. Matthew held her down however until he finished with her bandage. "You have a good scratch there, but don't worry it isn't mortal, you'll be safe with me." Lyn gave a small smile as she heard her own words spoken back to her. Matthew offered to help her up but Lyn shook him off and after cleaning her sword she turned to Matthew. "The Battle?" Matthew pointed over to the Southern bridge where Kent had just finished off the last of the patsies. "Still going on." "Well than what are we waiting for!" Lyn yelled out grabbing Matthew's hand and racing towards the Northern bridge. "Let's go!" 'She certinly heals fast' Matthew thought to himself as he and Lyn raced across the bridge. "Accursed Knights, always tampering in other's affairs!" Called out the bandit leader as he took a swing at Kent with his Axe. Kent wordlessly doged the blow and ripped open the man's leather armor with his sword. Lyn seeing her chance charged in and with a quick flury of swipes the man was mortaly wounded. "Blast...there...was only...susposed to be a lone...girl..." The Bandit sputtered while collapsing to the ground spitting out blood. Lyn and her group stood around staring at the bloodly mess for a moment before Lyn broke the silence. "That's the last of them. Fantastic work once again Matthew!" Matthew gave a little bow and a small smile as Lyn then turned to adress the dismounting Knights. "And now for you Knights of Lycia. You were going to share your story with me?" Kent stroad foreward and gave Lyn a small bow before beginning. "Yes. We have ventured from Caelin, in Lycia, in search of someone." "Lycia...that's the country beyond the mountains in the southwest, isn't it?" Mused Lyn. "Correct." Continued Kent. "We've come as messangers to the lady Madelyn, who eloped with a Sacaen nomad some ninteen years ago." "Madelyn?" Whispered Lyn in shock. Kent nodded and gave a small sigh. "Our lord the Marquess of Caelin's only daughter. He was heartbroken his own daughter would abandon him so. Eventualy, the Marquess simply declared he had no daughter." As Kent paused for a moment Sain stepped in to continue the story. "And then this year, we recieved a letter from Lady Madelyn. It said that she, her husband, and their daughter were living happily on the Sacae plains. The Marquess was estatic to learn that he had a granddaughter of eighteen years." Sain started to smile at the happy memory. "I remember the smile on his face when he anounced that he'd suddenly become a grandfather. The granddaughter's name is Lyndis. This was also the name of the Marquess' wife, who passed away at an early age."

"Lyndis?" Lyn whispered still in dissbelief over this fanciful story. "That she should bear this name," continued Sain, "thawed the Marquess' heart. Now his only wish is to meet his daughter's family at least once in his lifetime. That is why we are here. We didn't know that lady Madelyn had died only a few days after sending her letter...we only learned this shortly after arriving in Bulgar." "But we also learned," said Kent, reentering the story, "that all is not lost. Her daughter yet lives. We had heard that she was living alone on the plains...I...I knew it as soon as I saw you. You are the Lady Lyndis." "Why would you think that..." Replied Lyn only just comming out of her stupor; Kent gave a small smile. "You're resemblance to your departed mother is remarkable." Lyn became suddenly very excited. "What? Did you know my mother?" Kent shook his head sadly. "I'm sorry to say I never met her directly, but I saw her portraits in Castle Caelin." Lyn took a few steps to the left her head pointed towards the ground in deep thought. When she looked up a moment later it was into Matthew's eyes she looked for strength. Matthew gave her a small smile which seemed to be all that she needed to tell what pained her. "To the rest of my tribe" Lyn began turning to look at the Knights, "I was always Lyn. But when I was with my parents... When it was just the three of us, I was Lyndis. it's all so strange. I was all alone in the world, and now I have a grandfather. Lyndis...I never thought I would here that name again." Lyn stopped talking and gave a small sigh. Something was bothering Matthew though...his strategist mind went to work replaying the battle over in his head...the fighting...Lyn getting hurt...the Bandit's laying a trap for them...laying a trap for... "Wait!" Matthew yelled out drawing looks from the entire group. "That bandit! he called you Lyndis, too!" "What?" Asked Kent astounded. "How could he have-" "He was a hunchman of Lord Lundgren's, wasn't he?" Asked Sain looking at Kent. "Lundgren? Who's that?" Inquired Lyn. "He's the Marquess' younger brother." Replied Kent uncomfortably. "Everyone assumed the Lady Madelyn was gone forever. This made Lord Lundgren heir to the Marquess' title." "To be blunt, Milady," Started Sain," you're existance is an obstancle to your granduncle's ambitions." "That's-" Started Lyn who stopped for a second to rethink her words. "But I have no interest in inheirting any title!" Sain sighed. "Unfortunately, your granduncle is not the sort of man to believe that. I believe the attempts on your life will persist." "Well then what should I do?" Lyn asked the Lycian Knights. "Accompany us to Caelin. Continuing on this course without heavily armed escort is dangerous." Kent responded. "I feel as if I have little choice." said Lyn, "Give me a few moments to talk to Matthew than I shall go with you." Kent nodded and then turned to say something to Sain while Lyn walked over to Matthew. "Matthew...I'm sorry." Lyn began hanging her head." This changes everything. What will you do Matthew?" "Whatever you want me to do Lyn." "You...want me to decide?" Lyn sighed and then looked once again into Matthew's eyes. "Of course your companionship would do much to ease my journey, but...It's going to be so dangerous." "That's why you need me Lyn...danger is my trade remember?" "You'll really come?" Lyn asked hopefuly. "Are you sure?" Matthew grabbed her hands and gave her a smile. "I'd go to the ends of the Earth with you." "Thank you!" Lyn smiled and gave Matthew a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. In the backround Sain could be heard muttering. "Lucky." Lyn let go and just held Matthew's hands. "Let me continue to ask you for your friendship and your aid!"

Hmmmm...I guess not many people here have played Fire Emblem as Hawk & I have...disappointing. All of you should go get a Gameboy Advance & play it!!!!
As for the story thus far, great job Hawk! You're doing an excellent job creating a storyline for the strategist (which no one really knows anything about in the game). Although, it seems to me you're trying to go for a romantic type feeling between Lyn & Matthew...I don't think that's part of the game's storyline...

Lol, Hawk1, they don't post hardly here, I have about twenty topics where nobody has said anything, ever. It makes me want to quit writing, to tell you the truth, what good is writing if no one tells you how it made them feel? I have played Fire emblem BTW, good game (Though I suck at strategy...) Story and characters were very enjoyable...

How about you and I make a deal then Kabal? I'll read your stuff if you read mine.
