Yeah that helps me too. I enjoy listening to them, but I hear them so much that waiting a year until the next Christmas really isn't all that bad.

I haven't really been in Christmas spirit neither - for several years.
This time it's kinda different, since I'm no longer living with the family. Folks just don't understand if I say "I wanna be alone this christmas." They start thinking there's something wrong with me ^^; I'm not family person, and I'm not holiday person. This year I told everyone I'm not gonna buy anything or sending any cards (and once again everyone thinks I'm nuts).
And there hasn't even been snow until last weekend, which is somekinda snow(less) record since I'm living in Lapland. Santa's city or not, I'm not into Christmas, cold and snow. >_>;
Maybe it's different deal next year, who ever knows :3 People and their enviroments change.

Heh, I hear ya Danai. I'm not a family person (though I can't wait till I'm at my gf's again, love those pplz), and presents 'n cards 'n stuff ... ugh, it's just a drag, the luster's off and the sludge remains.

I actually like giving cards and presents to people, heh Well, to my best friends that is. I love making funky personalised cards for them I guess I'm not as Grinchy as I thought

It's not the giving or buying that's the problem with me, it's the thinking of what to get. Seriously, I'd be just as happy if the whole present-giving thing is taken out of it.

Heh yeah finding stuff can be hard, I struggled with my b/f's present this year, but I think he'll like what I got... I'm still a kid at heart though - I love getting presents

Yeah, I love getting presents too. I also like to give them and watch people open them and smile. It is fun. Christmas is still fun for me. I would actually like a White Christmas. It would feel more like Christmas that way

I like watching people open the presents I give them too, especially if it's a really cool surprise to them

I usually feel uncomfortable opening presents. Usually I'm getting something that the presents I bought completely do NOT live up to.

Guess it depends, heh I know I have often felt disappointed by presents I've received in the past. Sometimes I'd rather just be given money or a voucher
