Halloween is coming up, so I decided to post a thread where I ask you which horror film star would win in a fight. Here's a list:
MICHAEL MYERS FREDDY KREUGER JASON CARRIE
If all these characters got in a big fight, who do you think would win? I'll tell my opinion when lots of people start posting theirs.

I've never seen Saw. These were all the horror film characters that I know of. But you can add more if you want. But out of this list, who do you think would win? Why?

Weird question, LOL! But le'see... Well the top three have that whole "supernatural never die" thing going on (aah the frustration!) while Carrie was killable, and not actually "evil"... She has actual powers though, the others just seem to have severe bladage going on. So... Yeah I don't know Meanwhile, what about Freddy versus Edward Scissorhands? Ed's already got an advantage, hehe... but again he's not evil... Hmmm! The possibilities

Well, evil likes evil. It's always good vs. evil, so Freddy vs. Edward Scissorhands would work. And Carrie wasn't even that scary. Just the last part had me up the wall, heh ^_^;;

Her eyes were freaky, heh... when she was just staring at everyone...
Out of the eeeevil ones, Freddy had the most imagination and humour, for the twisted freak he was, LOL! Scariest long lasting imagery as well *shudders*

I personally liked the first two Hellraiser movies. The Cenobytes were interesting design-wise, though they did little more than use hooked chains on their victims, and their victims all had to be involved with a certain Puzzle-box. But, they were interesting characters none the less, it is interesting that they themselves were just as mutilated as their victims. Pinhead's presence is very intimidating to say the least, he always made me think of if Hell had a Priest, he would have definately been it. As far as other horror characters, there was "Chucky" but I never really liked him, And if you want to go classic "horror" while he seems tame to modern-day standards, I always had a place in my heart for the original Frankenstein Monster, as played by Boris Karloff. The thought that it was Humanity's own petty prejudice that turned him into a true monster always fascinated me, and often has made me wonder how he would have been if humanity had not been so terrible to him. Another horror character could be Damien from the Omen. Satan in Exorcist is another. And from the ones listed, my personal favorite is Jason. He might be a tad slow, but quite frankly I must admit I gain a bit of enjoyment out of how he works. He oft reminds me of the definition of the word Juggernaut. An inexorable force or object that crushes all in it's path. Jason does just that, but vis-a-vis so does Michael Myers, but he seems "off" to me for some reason, but I chalk that up to personal preferential bias more than anything XP As for Freddy, well I like his sense of humor, but I must confess that when it comes to efficiency, he suffers "James Bond Villain syndrome" in that he tries too hard for the flashy and/or ironic death, and while it works on most kids he faces, it does not work on everyone. And as for Carrie, I personally think she falls in the same category as Frankenstein's Monster, she is the product of humanity (IE those she knew) treatment towards her. Highly abusive religious Mother, Abusive peers in school, going through personal changes and being humiliated, ridiculed and even punished for them. She never had a chance to be anything but what she became, in the end she struck her vengeance deep into those who had made her life a living hell.

I'm not really a horror movie fan to be honest. It's not my thing, heh... I like psychological stuff rather than blood and gore. Anyone into the Hammer Horror stuff though? Or foreign, Dario Argento movies like Deep Red (gawd that movie was weird). I saw the original Amityville Horror movie the other day - again, tame by today's standards if it's blood and gore you're after, but I actually preferred the fact that it was more "in the mind". I think that has more effect. Then there was the freaky voice shrieking "GET OUT!" to the priest, ugh... Don't get me started on It - I hate clowns because of that movie
