I kind of think it's funny how this article, as well as the bible, basically reads out 'don't kill each other', but literally EVERY mainstream monotheistic religion has excessively broken this 'rule'.
If you really think about it, buddhism and hinduism, and shintoism and their spinoffs are the way religion should be: peaceful, and directed at the individual self and the world around that individual.

When I was in Scheveningen with my gf, we were walking over the boulevard, and there was this little kiosk type of thing that said 'The Word of God', and I was like ... the word of God? Why are YOU spreading it? If He's almighty 'n stuff, can't he do it by himself? Or is he just too lazy? It actually surprises me how many things are shown to have/be flaws when it comes to religion like that. I'm going to call it religion now, but I mainly point at christianity and islam here, since I know most about those. No offense ya'allz, but most of you already know that

lol I agree with you, Religions are more like Fancy Clubs with over inflated egos. When people claim something non divine (AKA Man made such as buildings, books, etc) Is perfect and without flaw, that kinda irks me, I have been threatened by some of the christians around here for not believing the Bible is perfect.
but when people mistranslate the word "Young" into "Virgin" from the original "doctrines" and then don't correct themselves and stay the course? How can you call that book "Perfect" when it isn't even perfectly translated for goodness sake XD I have faith in God, just not those who claim some higher knowledge than the rest of us, People that are powerful in religions do a lot of manipulating, controlling, and at times, downright brainwashing. I have found far more truth just listening to the breeze than ever from listening to any preacher, minister, or reading a book. God speaks... you just have to listen. If he tells you that you are one of a chosen people, then you aren't listening correctly XD That is just the human ego talking XP God is. Period. And this is to my own eyes and ears. To those who don't believe in anything, You are no more right nor wrong than I. I have faith in what I believe, And I encourage everyone here to believe fully in what it is you believe. Find the beliefs that fill you with Joy, the ones that bring peace to your heart and soul, Whether you are Christian, Mormon, Hindu, Wicca, Catholic, Shintoist, Taoist, Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Ignostic, or Atheist, Take hold of your beliefs... If they give you strength, if they give you peace and joy, embrace them, No one has the right to tell you that your beliefs are wrong, because no one knows the full truth, Not me, not anyone around here, no one. We can only have faith in what we believe. Cherish your beliefs, for they are the guiding light in the distance. And fyi, I do not count "Satanic" as a religion, if you have ever read that book, it is reminiscent of a 13 year old boy reversing the meanings of everything Catholocism does and says. XDDDD So from here on out, The Satanic Religion shall be reffered to as "Backwards Catholics" when I refer to them.
No offense, but it IS true... And as for the rest of the stuff I am reasonably confident It shouldn't be TOO offensive ^^;; but if I am wrong then I will correct where necessary.

You know Kabal, you're one guy I can talk to. When I first saw you proclaiming your trust in God 'n all, I was thinking 'blah, another christian', but you're not just 'another' christian. You're a guy that follows his own beliefs, and not those of another. Thumbs up!
You said 'God is'. I'd like to highlight that for a moment. What you probably meant to say is 'To me, God is'. Remember, only christianity, catholicism, islam and jiddism (SP?) are monotheistic. Some may say '[To me,] Gods are'. Others like, agnosticism or atheism, preach that '[To me,] God is not/Gods are not' (or, in some cases: '[To me,] IPU is', but that's another story).
To me (being Zyppora), I'm pretty sure there's a god. Or multiple. The bible (let's disregard how 'true' it is at this moment) never excludes the existence of other gods beside 'God thy Lord' (in fact, the first commandment reads something like Thou shalt not have gods before thy Lord, for I am a jealous god, implying the existence of possible popularity rivals). But whether or not there's are actual gods somewhere out there, I'd like to think that I've accepted the fact that they won't interfere with everyday life, and generally disregard them. I'd like to spend my time enjoying life for me, not for some divinity.
A few weeks ago, there was this news report about some infant in India or somethin who fell down a manhole. It took the whole fire dept and a number of hours to get him back out. And this woman got her face into the reporter's camera and said 'God saved this child'. So I'm like ... wait, God saved him? What about those firefighters that got him out? Where they unnecessary?

Sounds like where my gf lives. Here in NL nobody cares, really. If you go to church every sunday, that's kool, if you don't, that's kool. We're more concerned about crime rates and economy.

Aha, Here In Arkansas, You either a Christian, Catholic, or a misguided child who's "lost the way". That is, if you look from a closed mind view. Which most of Arkansas is. Luckily, I happen to live in a pretty open part of it (Or at least I think it is. We have a club for it at the High school, and the only thing that happened was some people came and yelled at them. Oh, and they threw a bottle, too.) Hell, I got a diverse group. I have an Atheist, Some What Christian (Who is totally sickened by guys kissing, but she still reads the comics with the guys kissing... Someone explain that to me) And me, the Agnostic. We're a pretty weird group.

Lol, it's not hypocrisy, it's personal preference I like blue better than green. That's not hypocritical because I should like all colours equally. Same with MxM or FxF. Or MxF for that matter.
