This has been bugging me forever. Why do they weat their school uniform practically everywhere? Like in the episode where Ami was going to go on the plane, but then Mamorou and Chibi-Usa give her her new Power Stick. She was going to get on the plane with it on! If I did that in school, my mum would have killed me!

Remember, Sailor Moon was still a low budget anime at that point (all animes are low budget XD)
They didn't have time, money, nor energy to draw out 100000 character designs. Each set of clothing has a new character design so the different animators dont draw it wrong
A uniform is an easy excuse for the animators to only have one or a few character designs.

My Speculations: ;D
The animators were being "cheap" when::::: (in the best possible way...becuz I do really like Sailor Moon)
-Saturn didn't get a transformation scene -The senshi didn't get upgraded to Eternal in Stars -The transformations for the Starlights were "stillframe" -Eternal Sailor Moon transformation was REALLY cheap (ok 2 arm transformations...and that's it!!! Shhesh!!)
-When the Outers didn't get put into SuperS becuz the SuperS animators would have had to draw new uniforms (super) for them *(see note) -When they kept the "__ Star Power! Make Up!" throughout the Sailor Moon S series. They were supposed to get upgradaed to "___ Planet Power! Make Up!"
*Remember "Sailor Moon" switched animation teams. From Classic to SuperS was the one and original team. Then Stars switched animation teams. That's why Stars looks different from SuperS. And since Stars was really rushed, they didn't get to a lot of things. So the SuperS people felt lazy and didn't bother to draw the Super forms of Outers----becuz they let the Stars people do it!
