I like the original course that Naoko was thinking about taking with them - but it was really expanded in the game Another Story. It's cute.

Yea but there is a pic that has the generals and the senshi togther. Wish they did not have to kill them. Think that they shpuld of healed them and see the turth that Beryl was the bad person.

Actually, Beryl wasn't even the bad person. She was just driven by jealousy towards Princess Serenity, because she stole Prince Endymion away from her. It was Queen Metallia that turned this jealousy into hatred and managed to get her to lead armies into destroying the Silver Millennium.

Personally, I think that if the relationship would have been pursued, it would turn into another cliche like Romeo & Juliet, which is done WAY too often. You'd have the Sailor Senshi telling Minako to stay away from Kunzite because he's a bad guy, & Queen Beryl stopping Kunzite, telling him Minako would be in the way of Metallia's plans. I guess it wouldn't be so much of Beryl, but more of Jadeite (sp?).

I think it works best as a sort of tragic romance. But the difference between them and Romeo and Juliet (and what makes them so awesome IMO) is that Venus and Kunzite make a choice not to be together. They recognize their duty to their respective groups, particularly the prince and princess. Romeo and Juliet ran off and eloped, forgetting about everyone else (Romeo even ended up killing his best friend, didn't he?) Venus and Kunzite remain loyal and responsible. They end up having to fight each other, but keep in mind that Kunzite was brainwashed at the time. Venus ended up having to kill him to protect her friends. (Doesn't this sound a bit like a certain other couple we all know?) In fact, just before that battle Kunzite seemed to be regaining his memories of the prince and realizing that Beryl had tricked him, and he might actually have been plotting against Beryl. But then she stuck that little gem on his forehead and pretty much made him into her puppet.
But at any rate, they're probably doomed. Venus has decided she doesn't want a man, and Kunzite has been sealed into a rock.

Okay where shall I begin...
I'll start with this... I could never actually picture those two together, no matter what anybody says. Although in a lot of movies, the bad guy eventually turns good and the hot blonde chick snags him and they live happily ever after, somehow I just think that it could never end happily.
However, although Minako and Kunzite never actually had a proper meeting, there is a slight chance that there might be some sparks between the two...yet it would be sorta impossible seeing how Kunzite is, as yumecosmos put it "has been sealed into a rock."

I also wish the shitennou had come back, not only for the potential romance, but so that Mamoru would have a group of guardians to interact with as well. Usagi has her senshi to support her and bring out her character. Mamoru, however, was relegated to the role of Heroine's Dashing Love Interest; his life is largely centered around Usagi and his character is usually developed through his relationship with her. He does have Helios, but in the end Helios has a lot more interaction with Chibiusa. It would've been cool for the guys to have thier own group and their own adventures. Then again, in a shoujo series I guess it's not surprising that it's focused around the girls ^_^; Time for a fanfic spinoff! Fwahaha!
