A Sailor Moon panel I taped at AnimeNEXT 2009.

At this year's AnimeNEXT, there was a Sailor Moon panel on Saturday. What we did at this panel was we watched the first episode of a fan-made sixth season of Sailor Moon called Sailor Moon Universe, which was made from recycled footage of previous Sailor Moon episodes, and brand new animated footage. There were two Q&A's. One before we watched it, and one after we watched it. We also got to reminisce a little, and talk about the show and our experiences with it. And towards the end, what was planned to be just simple fan-dubbing of the episode to try and find some good voice actors for the season ended up turning into Sailor Moon - The Abridged Series.

Overall, I thought this was interesting how they managed to make a whole 6th season of already existing footage from the previous seasons. I didn't like the voice actress they picked for Lita though. And during the SMA part, they were talking crap about poor Ami, and I stepped in and defended her.
