This is here so that you can't tell me I didn't warn you in advance. It's much easier to post it once than it is to repeat myself over and over again. Less annoying too. This is strictly for members to post their message board and website links. Make a new thread for your stuff If I find people are just signing up here to plug their board or site without actually posting anywhere else or participating in board discussions of any kind, your post will be deleted and so will your account. Sorry but that's the way it's gotta be. I'll move all the other threads that have been posted elsewhere over here so if you have already posted a link to your site somewhere at the board, don't post it again... NEW RULE:From now on, you must have 25+ posts and be a regular contributer to the board to advertise your own site... There is nothing more annoying than someone who signs up here soley to plug their own site, therefore anyone who does after this post has been made, will have their advertisement deleted... I hope this is understood. [ Zyppora ] Added by Zyppora. [ /Zyppora ]

I just want to make a few addtions to this:
***** You only need to post ONE thread about your board or site. If you create another board/site, you may make another thread for that, but I would prefer it if you kept all your sites or boards in the same thread to avoid clutter.
***** Also, DO NOT post a link to your board in someone else's thread! I cannot stress that enough. It has been happening and it's not on. You wouldn't like someone else spamming your thread with their board, so don't do it yourself.
***** Another thing - don't send PMs to members with a link to your board in them. That can often be considered spam, and is irritating when you think that you're being sent something important, when it's not.
Please take note of this, because if I am forced to delete threads, and then am questioned or abused for it, I will not be happy. This is a stickied thread that clearly says "READ FIRST"... it doesn't take long to read it, nor is it a bother to abide by.
I hope I have made myself clear.

I think we should always put all of our sites in one thread each. I'll move threads around into their proper places.

This is really tiring... Can you help, Sailor Mercury? This one forum I visited had the ability to merge threads. I'm pretty sure it was just a matter of " select this thread and select this thread, and click merge, and confirm." I wonder if it is even possible in proboards to merge threads that easily. . . I doubt it though, the other forum I refered to was nonstandard in the way they did things.

I don't think it's possible here... I guess it could be a question for the Support board, heh...

I don't think it's possible here... I guess it could be a question for the Support board, heh... I know there is a way to move threads from one board to another, but say you have 2 threads that are the same. Is there a way for the Administration to merge those 2 threads together? |

I know you said you don't want to be asked questions, but can you post links to a friends site, if they are not a member, I mean.

I suppose... as long as they are suitable... That was mainly in relation to questions about things I'd already mentioned, heh
