lol I thought it was kinda funny. And trust me, they could have gone farther than what they did, plus the whole premise of Robot Chicken is to make fun of stuff, and Sailor Moon is not something that cannot be spoofed, last I checked it was just a manga series and tv show. And in what way do they rub it in "our" noses that Sailor Moon is off the air? They made a spoof, just like they spoof everything.

And in what way do they rub it in "our" noses that Sailor Moon is off the air? Cartoon Network: Yeah, we pulled Sailor Moon, TWICE, and we really don't care whether you like it or not. We're too cool for a girly show like Sailor Moon. You know what, here's how much we care about you and your Sailor Moon. -Megas XLR parody- Mad enough? Well, we STILL don't care. Here's some more for your Sailor Moon memories. -Robot Chicken parody- Still mad? Hahahahahaha! -evil laughter-

Someone should sue them for copyright/intelligent property infringement or somethin (not me though, I'm from Europe I don't have the 'sue-you' mentality).

Actually I'd be quite flattered if something I made gained enough popularity to be parodied in such a way.
It means that the creator of the parody payed enough attention to it in order to think up a viable idea to parody. Which means that they are probably a fan.
Oh and parodies are protected from being able to be sued.

Actually I'd be quite flattered if something I made gained enough popularity to be parodied in such a way. Pfft. I'm not talking about the creature being offended or not, of course she'd be flattered. Looks like the whole point of this thread went right over you head, lol... This is strictly about the fans. I'm talking about the fact that out of nowhere CN's pulls Sailor Moon, then they are bombarded with emails and phones calls and whatnot begging them to put Sailor Moon back on air. A very high number of people... and there are people who still ask them to this day to air the show (even though we all know that they couldn't air it now even if they wanted to)... of course they refuse, then they give us a parody, then they give us a second parody. I just thought of it as CN laughing in our faces. Or maybe they were trying to tell us to shut the f**k up already since its not coming back. Now, with the Megas XLR parody, I can see how they are being friendly and maybe showing us that they haven't forgotten about Sailor Moon or its fans, but with the Robot Chicken parody, ugh, just sad. I really dont care about it anymore though, lol. Who are you quoting and where did you find it? XDDDDDD That is hysterical XDDDDDDD No offense but that reminds me of old 80's cartoon villains, and even the great grandpappy to cartoon villains, Snively Whiplash, XDDDDD Sorry but whoever said that is hysterical ^^;; Oh, I made up that bit of CN dialogue myself, lol.

Okay, last time I checked Sailor Moon is not a religion, I don't see how you have to insult us by assuming your Presumption of what Cartoon Network is thinking, went over our heads. The fact is, you DON'T know whether they tried or not, or whether they got good enough ratings, I was never home to watch it on Cartoon Network, the only channel it came on that I was able to see it was the USA network. But, Seriously man, you need to ease up, you are jumping to conclusions Eval Kineval (SP?) couldn't make with a rocket bike XD But I think you have no information to back up your "theory" So before slandering a company you should really use actual facts as opposed to severely biased opinions... First of all... Cartoon network does not make the shows in question, nor write it, if you have a beef, take it out on the creators of the show, but even then your case still holds no volume... And besides, if you cannot laugh at what you love, then you are in a religion XD

They're butt ugly compared to the real thing *smirks and crosses arms over chest* Even Haruka could beat them in a beauty contest, every single one of'em.

Okay, last time I checked Sailor Moon is not a religion, I don't see how you have to insult us by assuming your Presumption of what Cartoon Network is thinking, went over our heads. Uh, you need to chill. First, I wasn't talking to you or anyone else when I said that, I was talking to Creshosk. And second, that wasn't an insult. I wasn't insulting you or anyone else or Creshosk when I said that. Saying that something possibly went over someones head is saying that they may have missed the point of what I was trying to say. No one is perfect, its not impossible to misunderstand something, it happens to the best of us. I wasn't calling him or anyone else stupid. So please tell me, how was I insulting anyone? The fact is, you DON'T know whether they tried or not, or whether they got good enough ratings This is a false assumption on your part. CN actually did try to make Sailor Moon work on their network. And I do infact know how the ratings of Sailor Moon were, and I know why CN pulled it. But that was besides the entire point. Don't make assumptions on things you know nothing about, or in this case, me. But, Seriously man, you need to ease up, you are jumping to conclusions Eval Kineval (SP?) couldn't make with a rocket bike XD As I said one post earlier, I don't care about this whole thing anymore, and I didn't care that much when I posted this. I just make a thread about this 'cause I thought it was interesting and I wanted to show you all. The whole "I'm so pissed I'm gonna explode" was just a damn act that I wanted to pull. A joke. I thought that was glaringly obvious. As for easing up, who was the one who took my words so seriously as to make a post in which they said I insulted everyone, and called me a slandering biased religious-like Sailor Moon fan? If anyone needed to "ease up", it was you. But I think you have no information to back up your "theory" No shit Sherlock. And it was not a theory. It was an obvious (or so I thought until I read your post) joke, and even if it wasn't a joke, in my last post I also said, "I just thought of it as...", hence that its my personal thinking, not a theory. So before slandering a company you should really use actual facts as opposed to severely biased opinions... See my above responses. First of all... Cartoon network does not make the shows in question, nor write it, Wrong. CN did infact create and write the show Megas XLR, which was one of the two Sailor Moon parody shows. It doesn't make Robot Chicken though. So before slandering me, use actual facts as opposed to false ones. if you have a beef, take it out on the creators of the show, but even then your case still holds no volume... My "beef" isn't actual beef anyway. I have no grudge with them. And even if I did, its not that serious to contact the creatures about it. Or did you read my posts and somehow come up with the assumption that I was planning to throw a revolt against CN or the parody's creatures? And besides, if you cannot laugh at what you love, then you are in a religion XD A) Matter of opinion B) For the record, I didn't laugh at the Robot Chicken parody cause I thought it was plain stupid. I did, however, laugh at the Megas parody when I saw it.

Actually I'd be quite flattered if something I made gained enough popularity to be parodied in such a way. Pfft. I'm not talking about the creature being offended or not, Neither was I. I was talking about in the stance of a creator not a character. of course she'd be flattered. Who exactly ARE you talking about? Looks like the whole point of this thread went right over you head, lol... You created a thread just so you could complain about something that you personally did not like. Not only do you fail to grasp the concept of who's in charge of making the shows, and who runs them? Cartoon network airs the episodes of Robot Chicken, but independant artists are in charage of its creation. This should be fairly obvious from the fact that some of their shows have aired on other channels. Such as Family guy and Furturama airring on Fox. I is not the broadcasting company that creates the shows. This is strictly about the fans. Yes, the creators of the paradys can be argued as being fans. I'm talking about the fact that out of nowhere CN's pulls Sailor Moon, Or you know they had no new material to run, and can only show reruns so often before the fans stop watching, the ratings go down, the comercials that are shown don't do as well. So they pull a show in favor of showing another show to gain the extra attention on the commercials. That's how they make their money. then they are bombarded with emails and phones calls and whatnot begging them to put Sailor Moon back on air. Doubtful. A very high number of people... You have evidence of this? And please none of SOS's garbage. and there are people who still ask them to this day to air the show (even though we all know that they couldn't air it now even if they wanted to)... So why are you complaining? Their hands are tied. As is their right since it is their channel, If Sailor Moon was not profitable to them why show it? then they give us a parody, Not under their control. then they give us a second parody. Also not under their control. The writers behind Robot chicken and Megas XLR decided to parody Sailor Moon. Normally this sort of publicity iis a good thing. I just thought of it as CN laughing in our faces. Yes, ignorance does tend to lead one to jump to false conclusions. Or maybe they were trying to tell us to shut the f**k up already since its not coming back. Or maybe they had no direct control over the exact content that goes into the shows. Now, with the Megas XLR parody, I can see how they are being friendly and maybe showing us that they haven't forgotten about Sailor Moon or its fans, Again failing to understand how things work. again, They contract out a season of episodes from the producers of the shows, who in turn hire writers to write relevent material for the show. Now the writers have no control over scheduling. but with the Robot Chicken parody, ugh, just sad. I really dont care about it anymore though, lol. Then why comment on it adnd call it sad if you don't care? Who are you quoting and where did you find it? XDDDDDD That is hysterical XDDDDDDD No offense but that reminds me of old 80's cartoon villains, and even the great grandpappy to cartoon villains, Snively Whiplash, XDDDDD Sorry but whoever said that is hysterical ^^;; Oh, I made up that bit of CN dialogue myself, lol. You swould have had to, its much like blaming your movie theater if they show a movie that has a cameo appearence of sailor moon which they may or may not have known about.
