I always remember hearing "Princess Serena" on the subs slightly. They screwed it all up, Serenity was just her mother. I remember it that way for that one name and am comfortable with it, I would have liked to have kept the original names though. There was absolutely no reason why they changed it.
Edit: And wasn't it "Queen Metalia"?

Queen Metalia is what they meant I believe. But since it's a Japanese product by origin, I'd like to refrain from using anything other than the Japanese syllables, which means using 'r' whenever 'l' is spoken.

Then shouldn't you refer to her as "Sera Muun" rather than "Sailor Moon" And likewise for each of the senshi?

Heh, yes, I should. You're right Creshosk. I guess I'm selective when it comes to stuff like that.

mm, while I do hate the dub, certain things if they hadn't change them , might have gotten sailor moon kicked off tv. So some of the stuff I guess was kinda ok to do considering a good portion of Americans who only saw dub wouldn't be big fans of it(i.e. anyone against gay relationships..). also they're names are cool in Japanese, but Americans aren't that intelligent, and there'd problably be alot of miss pronoucing. Other than that, they had no right.

Afterwards, it had a high quantity, low quality fanclub.

Zyppora means that when Sailor Moon was purely Japanese and not dubbed, that fans were very...educated about the series and couldn't (and didn't) spread stupid rumors. (One of my favorite: "Minako Aino is Usagi Tsukino's sister" =P). These fans didnt' number many, but they were intelligent Sailor Moon-respecting types.
Now, that its dubbed, dubbies (as in stupid dubbies) make up rumors and aren't very "high quality" though there are a lot of them (high quantity).

Exactly what Sailor Venus said. Before Sailor Moon was dubbed, the number of fans was relatively small, but they all knew what Sailor Moon was truly about (without the lies of the dub). Therefor, their 'knowledge quality' about the series was relatively high. Now that it's dubbed, Sailor Moon gained a LOT of fans (quantity), but they know only the lies and the basic stuff (low quality knowledge).

lol, nope. Too bad, but I got to her first, and she's mine!! Besides, I only own three things in dub, and all of the come with the sub version. Now that I think about it, I can't remember that much from the dub either....I used to watch it for kicks....
