Please provide some input on how well Sailor Mercury would act as the leader. Give some reason on why or why not. It can be your own opinion and/or references form the show.

Sailor Mercury wouldn't be the best leader because she is shy and her attacks aren't all that powerful. She doesn't seem to ever lead the other senshi except when helping them with their schoolwork. She's never shown any great leadership skills. Sure, she's the brains of the Inner Senshi, but being intelligent doesn't make one a good leader. She isn't bold enough either, and seems a little insecure. I like her, but don't think she'd make a great leader. She's more a behind the scenes type, using her computer while others fight, like in the episode where she and Sailor Uranus are together in Nehelania's nightmare world. Sailor Uranus is the leader there. I think in some ways Mercury would be a better leader than Sailor Moon, but only because she's steadier. Mars, Jupiter and Venus would all be better than Mercury any day.

I think that Sailor Mercury would be an excellent leader, shes always willing to put others before herself in any time on need, Ami has a heart of gold and is always doing the right thing! She has the brains to help the scouts in need, and she might not be as storng as the other senshi but what she lacks in power she gains in intelligance! She is shy but when ever *anyone* is in danger she is willing to help no matter what!

I agree that intelligence is a great quality, but it doesn't make up for lack of power. Remember that episode in Stars when that professor turns into a Phage and all Ami does is cry "Sensei!" over and over?

Remember that episode in Stars when that professor turns into a Phage and all Ami does is cry "Sensei!" over and over? Well maybe thats cause Ami is close with her teachers, she admires there work & teachings and when you find out someone you admire is a total Fake, Wouldn't you be upset? Teachers seem like a big deal in Ami's life.

Sure, I'd be upset, and I'd probably react the same way, but I'm not a hero of justice.

Okay. But for some reason, Ami attacks the doctor who becomes a Phage, with "Aqua Rhapsody!" I really think she was being a wimp in that episode with the professor.

I guess all of the Scouts may have an ep. were they are a "wimp" && Ami acting like one in that Ep. shows that shes a normal person as well as a scout who can freak out over things.

On the flipside, Ami excels in the gamer tournament episode in Stars, where the other girls fail one by one.

Please provide some input on how well Sailor Mercury would act as the leader. Give some reason on why or why not. It can be your own opinion and/or references form the show. It has both positives and negatives. + She would be a good leader because she is very smart and she could use that intelligence to her advantage. Ami is a very nice person and would help the team out with her brains and strategies. - She wouldn't make a good leader and nekosenshi said:

Yes, she is really cool in that episode, but I don't think her winning those games shows she would make a good leader. I stand by my opinion.
