She is my favorite character of the bunch! The only thing that throws me off is all of her blue. She just needs to drop some of that blue on all of her clothes and pick up a few random colors! The random colors are cool, and make her different. Different is good, but that's just my opinion!

I like Sailor Mercury even if she isn't my favoriite. Cuz, I think Sailor Mercury would probably be the senshi most related to you... personality-wise.

Amy:Sailor Mercury Sailor Mercury's Three main attacks are: 1.Mercury Bubble's Blast 2.Shine Aqua Illusion 3.Mercury Aqua Rapsody 1. Mercury Bubble Blast was the first attack Sailor Mercury learned. If you take it on its own it looks rather week. When alone this attack is not good for much else then making your enemy shiver while you run away in the smoke screen. However I've never sceen an enemy more vunerable then when they're blind. People tend to panic when they lose their sight and from what I've seen Yoma do the same. An enemy who is blind and paniced is in a perfect position for a sailor Moon finishing move. 2. Shine Aqua Illusion was the second attack learned by Sailor Mercury. This attack is rather interesting and proves that Sailor Mercury is the Scout of Ice instead of water as she is sometimes mistaken to be. Sailor Neptune is the Sailor of water. (Or at least the oceans well... I'll worry about that later ) Shrine Aqua Illusion is an attack that creates a spray of Ice water that freezes anything it touches. I have very rarely seen this attack performed to its full ability. It is truely powerful when used correctly. Needless to say Sailor Mercury froze the scouts oponent solid. (I believe that was in one of the earlier movies) On its own this attack has great potential. Having an enemy frozen in place is the perfect set up for a fellow scout to move in to finish off the enemy. This is where is gets fun however. Lets put Mercury Bubble Blast with Shine Aqua Illusion. If you put the two attacks togather you get a Yoma who's probably had limbs frozen, is blind, paniced, and probably a bit chilly. As someone who intends to go into the military I can tell you right now, you really couldn't give your allies a better set up then that. 3. Mercury Aqua Rapsody is an attack I was dying waiting for. Because this attack finaly gives Sailor Mercury the punch she has been waiting for. Its fine to set your enemy up for the knock out blow but if there is no one there to help you your stuck. This attack gives Sailor Mercury the ability, the potential to stand up to nearly any enemy alone and defeat them. Mercury Aqua Rapsody is an attack that consists of a high pressure jet of water erupting from Sailor Mercury and slaming into the enemy. Bah, you say! Who's afraid of a little water, You say! Think about this Einstein: Imagine a the stream of water emitting from a fire hose. It could sweep you off your feet easy. Imagine that power doubled, tripled, quadrupled. That could cause you some serious damage. Put them togather and you have a Yoma who's: Frozen, blind, paniced, chilly, and...dead. .~ I really love everything you say about Ami and since you decided to focus on her main attacks I would like to point out something about her other attacks. My assertation is this, Mercury purposely holds back full strength until it is absolutely needed, only using enough power to get the job down. Which works for her because she is so analytical. Other senshi have monsterous attacks based entirely on destroying as much as possible like Fire Soul, Supreme Thunder, World Shaking, Deep Submerge and the list goes on. These attacks are just destructive powers that can really be looked at as somewhat uncivilized in nature. I agree with you that Ami's main attacks are more specialized I think she keeps it that way. What everyone never points out is when on those rare occasions that Ami does lose her cool her power suddenly becomes unchecked so you get an attack just as destructive as Fire Soul or Supreme Thunder. Proof is seen in Mercury Aqua Mirage and Shabon Spray Freezing. 1.Shabon Spray Freezing- Ami uses this effectively only one time the second time she was not angry enough for it to properly allow her to reach the potential for her to use this properly. She sees babies being taken over by a cardian and she becomes so enraged at the site of this that she just explodes and freezes everything in site. This is an explosion of power that even astounds Jupiter. I made a post that suggested Ami may even be able to stop Deep Submerge by freezing it with Shine Aqua Illusion which would work great on the water ball Michiru shoots however the real attack is more of a wave. Shine Aqua Illusion is more for less basically a whole lot of freezing kick-buttery designed to freeze a small area so to speak (when I mean small I mean it would have a hard time freezing a wave but it wouldn't have a problem taking out four or five enemies) Shabon Spray Freezing is a much more expansive attack it can freeze a large area and multiple things. I think if Mercury had to freeze Deep Submerge this would do the trick. 2. Mercury Aqua Mirage- My favorite second only to Aqua Rhapsody. Aqua Mirage is used in the SuperS special when after weeks of competition she thinks an enemy is manipulating her due to such immense stress and the fact that she thinks this enemy is trying to control her thoughts Mercury becomes absolutely livid. She can't bear the thought of someone controlling her mind and she is fed up with the competition and stress and decides to end this right now. Mercury Aqua Mirage is an explosion of water ball projectiles sent streaming at her enemy it could hit multiple enemies and when a ball does it the enemy it encases them in a ball of water implodes in on them changes them to water and then explodes in a wave of water that blasts the enemy to nothingness while at the same time demonstrating that Mercury-sama could create a wave of water just as massive as Deep Submerge if need be. I love these attacks because they are the few times we get to see Mercury's raw unchecked power in action and it shows that Mercury's main attacks are indeed as specialized as you say. I couldn't agree more with you about the other attacks. I think Mercury is very comfortable in her role and is in no way weak as some claim. I just think she is modest. Anyway that is my little addition I hope you like it!

I would like to start by saying I am very impressed on two distinct levels with your analysis. 1. First your analysis is matches up perfectly with my own I believe you are correct in all of your assertions and I thank you're addition to my post. 2. I'm amazed that you even read that old post. One of my greatest pet pieves which I almost never mention on this site but continualy seethes under the surface is people who simply post on a topic without reading all of the material that comes before it. People who simply run up shout out their opinion into a debate and walk away without paying attention to wait came before or what came after. Such peoples opinions are useless to the argument at hand as they have not allowed themselves to watch and analyze the thread of discussion that has come before. 80% of the time their ideas have already been spoken and simply take up space. Sorry...needed to give a little rant. Allow me to say thank you for your throughness. And last I beg your apology for not putting up an attack like Sabon Freeze. You see the date on that post was 2003 and well... ;D I kinda hadn't seen the 2nd Saga yet. Gomen Thank you for updating and completing my oldest work on this site.

I like Ami but she isn't one of my favorites. I do like how she's the only inner senshi who keeps her priorities straight. I don't quite get all the guys being in love with her. It's not that there's really something wrong with her, I just don't get it. This is coming from a bisexual girl who leans more towards women.
