I have alot of suggestions from looking at other message boards and looking aroundthe net and just brainstorming. Some things may be neat for this message board.
1. Contests - You should have contests for graphics, layouts, posts(which you have already), and other things. You could hand out awards for them even! That would be neat as alot of people would probably submit things and there could be more than one judge if alot of entries were submitted.
2. Teams - You have have a feature where you can pick a team - Sailor moon, Sailor Mercury, etc. Other people could be on your team. There could be like quizzes and contests and if a person on a team won then there team would get a point.
3. More smilies - I would add more smilies or change the ones you have now to different ones because more or different ones would be something different and fun to use. It would probably make posting a bit more fun.
4. Custom Images - For the home, log in , register, log out, profile, etc buttons you would make custom images as well as the reply, quote, edit, etc buttons. You could ask people for help on this if you want and you could make them to match the colors of the board.
5. Points - If you didn't want to do teams then maybe you could do this. This would be each person. If someone made a really really good post or helped an admin or something that would deserve an award then would be awarded points. There could be awards for so many points you have. This is kind of like karma.
6. More skins - I know this may be some work but maybe the GMods could help with this. There could be light blue, regular old blue, dark blue for skins. you can choose one to fit your needs.
