How do u make the icon thingys with one pic in the front, and a faded one in the back. also, how do u make the thingy that is at the bottom of every post u make??? HELP

You mean the avatar/icon pics? And the banner? I use Photoshop to create all my imagery, then I save them as either a .jpg or a .gif, and upload them to a website provider that will allow remote image linking...

Did you upload it to a server that allows crosslinking? Or did you link it directly off your computer?

yeah, you need to upload it to a web based server. otherwise it won't work. for example. if the picture were to point to the url C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\Stephanie's Folder\cerecerebanner.jpg my browser could not show it as C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\Stephanie's Folder\cerecerebanner.jpg does not exist on my computer. where as if you were to point it to a web server it would definetly exist. I hope this helps.

I'm assuming you've already got a pic that's uploaded? If that's the case...
Right click on that pic, go to "properties" - copy the link of the image - go into your profile here and paste the link into the "My own pic" section...
