Deep breath taken as I walk into the sunlight for the first time in a year, though it feels as if centuries had passed. Ache fills my body as it begins to move harder than it had ever. Determination is the mantra that fills the air, my voice carrying it with iron will forward.
I have cowered too long, now strength fills my veins as I raise my sword high...
Triumph swells in my chest as the blade sinks deep into foe, vicious vindication fueled by righteous indignation parallelled by the gore exposed by the hunger of my blade.
Unconscionable crimes wracked upon innocent soul, now strong fights hard biting deep within dark flesh of twisted malignance. One by one the pawns of the dark fall freely against the wrath of one punished so hard for reason so finite it's a crime.
Dauntless Judgement now calls for those who sought to snuff my life quietly, now crimson soaks the earth as I strike down my enemies with the vengeance of a God incensed. I spit my fury into the faces of those foul servants who made my life hell for so long, until there were none left to kill.
Eye to eye with my tormentor who no longer laughed at my cowardice, now shook as I cleaved his head from his body.
Like Brennus of the Celts 2397 years before me... I screamed my battle cry, my oath of vengeance, My victory... Vae Victus!

Hm... Well, it's got quite a few words I'm unfamiliar with, but I'm quite good at understanding words from the context around them. I'm very proud of you, seeing as this is the only thing you've written in many lights and falls. This poem, or whatever name you wish it by, is very victorious in its entirety, and its vibe. I like it. ^^ Especially the fact that you knew who first said Vae Victus, and that you put it at the end. *I smile.*
