And it's shocking, and also kinda cool at the same time. Three 6 Mafia's "It's Hard Out Here Being A Pimp", I'm not sure if that's the exact title, but it's something like that. It won the oscar for best original song, and I must say that this is kind of cool and interesting. Who knows what will happen next. Maybe some hard core heavy metal song will be nominated next year. LOL!

... the fact that it features the word 'pimp' not only in the lyrics, but in the title (no shit) would indicate to me that it's 13-in-a-dozen, rather than 'original'. What sheep they have in the jury? Are they republican?

smells like a bribe if something involving pimps got an award. I can understand professional wrestlers(in the regard that professional wrestleing has gotten a lot more real since the choke slam Big Show dealt to Kurt Angle off a 30ft ledgethat twisted the olympians legs, and busted angles head open enough to cause a small pool of blood to form. it was on top of uncovered concrete, and you cant fake what happened! anyone in professional wrestling today will tell you it's not fake, I'll just keep my nose out of it and let you take that up with the wrestlers who will likely eat you alive), but rap artists? no. music brings in money, and money is used for many things INCLUDING BRIBES. I dont have as much a problem with this as I do with the United States presidency though, and I'll rant that in my old thread.
