I see the point of the narrator, but Him to be based off the Bettles Blue Meanie, that was a shocker. it sounds really stupid to remove biblical refrences from TV, the stupid ones of humanity claim wars are for biblical reasons, when wars are based on political reasons, and for corporate greed, hiding behind the good book to make a war based on corporate greed and tyrany seem just! but I digress. look at how they ruined G Gundam, the most powerful Gundams were known as GOD and DEVIL, referring to the clash between good and evil(and whats a better example than GOD and the DEVIL), but due to atheists pissing and moaning, the names were changed to Burning and Dark, as the Devils corps were changed to Dark army. stupid paranoid jerks! dont they know that the biggest illusion the devil himself can pull, is the beleif that he doesnt exist? apparently not, and they'll be burning!
I think I digressed a bit too far, the PPG series made by American media was flawed in animation due to lack of character detail, but had action to spare, and that was how Samurai Jack got cancelled, too much action, not enough quality. the PPG anime will most likely succeed where several cartons failed.

American media was flawed in animation due to lack of character detail. The lack of character detail was the way it was intended to be, actually.

I never really liked Powerpuff Girls. I hope that this will be at least decent compared to the US original version. o.O;

I loved the originals... I think I was one of the first people in Australia to like them, thanks to cable, LOL! I wanted plush toys of them and the people in Toys R Us had never heard of them Now everyone knows who they are... or at least a lot of people do The style of the girls in the Anime is quite good, but... I'm not sure I like way some of the others look, particularly the Professor...

would you rather a character who looks like a lego set horribly built in the wrong way? or a slightly abstract variation?
I did like the idea of more super heroes, but after realizing that gendy tartakovski had a hand in the mutilation of American media, I felt appaled, as I felt moreso when he ripped on Power Rangers, Speed Racer, and other such Japanese media originals. you know that there's something wrong with someone if they poke fun at another nations media, such as how MAD magazine did their jokes with Manga and anime, this is not welcome. for once, we see how the Japanese throw their take into the mix. poke fun at American media, and maybe see some magazine mascott get killed in a horrible way. though a law of anime is that Americans are the stupidest of characters, and the only thing dumber are the American companies that dub them to English(though some companies do a good job, like with Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, that was nicely done). I guess to the Japanese an American scientist was incapable of producing young super heroes from scratch, and the Chemichal X thing was as realistic as surviving a bite from a radioactive Spider(which was turned to a Genetically altered spider in the Spider-Man movie, and it was mad as a result of gene-splicing, and the residue or whatever in the venom enabeled Peter Parker to become Spider-Man in the first movie, which I thought was awesome).

*arches eyebrow* It's only a cartoon... it doesn't have to be turned into some kind of political circus about nations ripping off other nations and paying them out or whatnot, eesh...

Weird. This looks interesting actually, but weird. I never really watched the powerpuff girls but I have seen commercials and things in stores about it. Probably in another 5 years they will have a powerful girls Live Action in japanese and it will be as popular as PGSM.

my point is, you must be really sick in the head if you bash another nations culture. you dont have to like it, but you cant just slam it on your personal media release. if you bash someonelses culture, expect to be bashed back, HARD.
look up the laws of anime if you can, they're a handy list of information regarding anime laws.

I hope this isn't like the rivalry between Naoko and Akira thing. Unfounded rumors. . .? you know that there's something wrong with someone if they poke fun at another nations media, such as how MAD magazine did their jokes with Manga and anime, this is not welcome. Mad Magazine makes fun of everthing. Anime and Manga are no differnt than the lord of the rings or X-men to them. for once, we see how the Japanese throw their take into the mix. poke fun at American media, and maybe see some magazine mascott get killed in a horrible way. Actually this wouldn't be the first time Japan has taken and altered an american media thing. There is starwars, X-Men, and Spiderman for example. . . though a law of anime is that Americans are the stupidest of characters, and the only thing dumber are the American companies that dub them to English(though some companies do a good job, like with Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, that was nicely done). Those laws quite ironically are created by Americans, and are not 100% consistant. It's as realistic as any of our superheros origins. Be it a gentic mutation formed naturally or from some sort of radiation. . . I mean seriously? In our world all we get is cancer, there world they get all sorts of powers.

It would be a fun anime to watch I guess. Looks interesting (I could probably even say promising).
Gosh people, not all anime is a "survey on the human nature in an uncontrolled and chaotic environment". While I totally champion realism, sometimes its good to lay back with mind-numbingly sweet and stupid animes: Pokemon for example. (It was good at one point XD).
Anyway, looks fun, if its on bittorent, i'll download it.
(The only exception is that Teen Titans CRAP. I hate that. Stupid Japanese-wannabes, just because its a Japanese opening theme does not make it anime.)
