And what an awesome show it was. He played alot of classic Pink Floyd songs, and he even played some I didn't expect like "The Fletcher Memorial Home". He opened the show with "In The Flesh", and then after that, he played "Mother", and during the line that went "Mother should I trust the government?", people were like "No!", and I was like "No way! Don't even think about it!" And during "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", it showed pictures and videos of Syd Barrett on the screen behind the band. During some songs, the screen would show clips focusing on this dude and a radio, and he was smoking and drinking constantly (the guy on the screen), and during "Wish You Were Here", the guy turned the dial on the radio to the sync of that part at the beginning of the song, before the instruments start playing. And I think he played some new songs too! Because I asked a few people about some of the songs he played that I didn't recognize, and they said they didn't know. There was this one song where the keyboard part sounded like something from a Bruce Springsteen tune. In one line of the song, he said "George, George, that Texas education must've f**ked you up.". They had this inflatable astronaut come out during one song, and during another song, there was this inflatable pig floating around the arena. On one side, it said something like "Don't be lead to the slaughter on November 2nd" and something about voting, and the other side said something where the first word began with a K. I don't know. I don't remember. I asked my dad what it meant, he said it had something to do with the government or something. I don't remember. During the second half of the show, him and the band performed "Dark Side of the Moon" in its entirety, and this will shock you:Nick Mason joined him!!!!! They hugged before the second half began, and it was so touching. Mason also joined for the encore, where he played "The Happiest Days Of Our Lives/Another Brick Part 2", "Vera/Bring The Boys Back Home", and "Comfortably Numb". During another brick, he had a choir of some kids from Harlem sing the kiddy choir part. Damn, it was such an awesome show. Now that I saw Roger Waters in concert, another one of my lifetime goals is complete. God loves me, and that's why I'm such a lucky man. My dad agreed when I said that "God loves me" on the way back to Penn Station. Now all I have to do is meet Roger in person, which sounds highly unlikely, but hey, you never know!
