i have to say that i agreed with yume, a woman dont need to have a man in her life to feel like she is a complete woman, love is important but you dont base your life too look for a male companion. Love between a man and a woman is not the only love that exist.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Now I don't like to think of myself as a feminist, but... girls can be feminine without needing to be in a romantic relationship. And I don't think every person needs to have a romantic relationship to have a fulfilling life. That's what Rei means when she says they don't need anyone if they have Usagi. Is it really so horrible to remain a virgin? Correct, which is what I've been saying all along when Rei makes that statement, if you have notice when I brought up that statement from the manga in the first place. Rei uses the word, love. She doesn't say friendship, she doesn't say bonding or duty. Rei says love, but why is Rei so absolute in her statement, maybe her statement from the manga sidestory will give you a clue, "If I ever fall in love, I'm sure I would all of that person to belong to me. I'll make them all mine but I might ruin them in the process. So I'm never going to fall in love. I don't need love right now. I have friends with the same purpose as me. I have all of you." The Sailor Moon sidestory, 'Casablanca Memory', is takes place just after Rei became Sailor Mars. It also gives you a glimpse at Makoto. Anyway, just because they aren't shown ending up with boys doesn't mean they all have to fall in love with each other. You say that they have much more interaction with their alleged boyfriends than the episodes themselves show, and then you turn around and say that because there are no males shown on screen, they must all be lesbians. So is screen-time an indication of a relationship, or isn't it? Jesus H. don't you even notice when I'm talking shift my focus from the anime to the manga and back? I'm saying that the two handle the characters different enough that you can't mix examples from both to support an arguement of this type. As such each version of the characters has developed different enough that mixing examples from both sources is wrong headed. Did I ever say that all the Sailor Senshi in the anime are lesbians? No. The examples I pointed out from the anime seem to suggest that maybe Ami and Makoto could be, although Makoto might be bisexual since the anime does have her seeking Mr. Right as well as her own actions dealing with Haruka and her comments toward Ami. What I've been pointing out is the manga seems to be going in that direction, a yuri relationship between the Sailor Senshi in the manga. Especially when you are dealing with Sailor Moon? It would be very stupid to ignore the relationship between Haruka and Michiru, or the way the manga and the anime handle the issue differently, which again makes them separate and unique from each other. Jesus H. don't you even notice when I'm talking shift my focus from the anime to the manga and back? No, we don't. In fact, this has been pointed out to you before, and reacting in this way is generally considered rude, and that's an understatement to what I really want to say. And who the hell is Jesus H?I'm saying that the two handle the characters different enough that you can't mix examples from both to support an arguement of this type. As such each version of the characters has developed different enough that mixing examples from both sources is wrong headed. Did I ever say that all the Sailor Senshi in the anime are lesbians? What I've been pointing out is the manga seems to be going in that direction, a yuri relationship between the Sailor Senshi in the manga. Then what was all that stuff about monster-of-month and 'possible love interests'? They don't appear in the manga. Again, make it clear which of the versions you're talking about. This is important to keep misunderstandings like the one above to a minimum.

What I've been pointing out is the manga seems to be going in that direction, a yuri relationship between the Sailor Senshi in the manga. Er, okay... But I was talking about the manga in the first place, when I said that the focus shifted away from all non-senshi characters, and that just because it's focused on girls doesn't mean it's yuri. And I don't really see how saying that Rei loves her grandfather but they aren't a couple is comparing the anime and manga.
