It think that weapons suits her and her power fine thoiugh; however for some one who is that powerful I feel that a sword would be a little more fitting. Like a heavy, double handed, six foot clay-more.

i thought that her weapon was a glave, or gwondow, like a giant spear with a huge blade at the end in place of the spear-head....or am i lost here?

No, you're right. It's actually a glave. But they call it a scythe for a good reason.

Because glaive is from latin gladius Celtic cladivo-(claymore) claideb, Gael. claidheamh all of which are sword. It was about the 15th century that it took on the meaning that's a sword blade on a staff or pole.
So a long curved blade on a staff could also refer to a Scythe . . .
