Ok peeps..... this is my view on this so you cannot beat me up for it.....
first of all I chose Seiya from the anime.... I actually can't stand Mamuru.... ppl on another forum I am on had a debate about how loyal he is to Usagi..... I don't really think he is... he is brainwashed in every series and Usagi has to risk life and limb to get him back..... they you have the time that he broke up with her cuz of a dream..... I mean come on.... In my opinon she is more loyal to him than he is to her...

I mean come on.... In my opinon she is more loyal to him than he is to her... So being brainwashed by a person means they're disloyal? And despite after recovering from the brainwashing always returns to her he's disloyal? And even when he couldn't come to her (due to the brainwashing) he still managed to protect her? And even when he was brainwashed and ordered to eliminate her he still resisted the brainwashing? Seiya doesn't truly love Usagi though. It's just displaced unaquited affection from Princes Kakyuu unto Usagi. Usagi reminds Seiya of Kakyuu, whom Seiya truly loves. But since Seiya won't breach the barrier between bodyguard and entorauge Seiya has to let his feeling out into another outlet. And since Usagi smelled like Kakyuu (an Olive fragrance) Seiya naturally displaced his feelings onto Usagi.

*shrugs* well like I sed.... that is my opinion.... he may have been able to resist the brainwashing enough to help her, but he wasn't like Usagi.... she has been able to resist being brainwashed.... the times that Prince Dimond tried to brainwash her into loving him........

Everybody has their own opinions and they are perfectly allowed to have them, even if I don't agree, I will fight for your right to your opinion. . . *ahem* Anyway, back on topic: That's true, USagi has the strongest will I've seen. Even when threatened with pain, or the posability of death, she will fight on for her friends. . . Of course at the same time if you threaten her friends directly she buckles rather quickly. Of course all of the senshi would gladly lay down their lives for one another.

That is understandable because that is what their friendship is based on, them willing to be together and willing to sacrafice themselves for each other and what they believe in.
Usagi is the one who holds them all together, tho, without her the others would all drift apart. Sure they would all be friends, but not as close as they r with Usagi around....

I don't really like to think about Usagi and Seiya together (they are girls both of them in manga and I don't like that animators turned starlights male in anime >xP).
Once again my answer is: Usagi and Mamoru are destined to be together. They make a perfect couple together.

I think that mamo chan is perfect for usagi, after all it's destiny, they were in love since the Silver Millenium, and a boy who gets in her life in the last season would never take the place of a love of thousands of years.....

No :s..... I say that their love is too strong for seiya to come and just replace mamoru, it may seem that because he is the first he gets her but the thing is, in the case of mamo chan und usako they can't get separated that easily :s

I say that their love is too strong for seiya to come and just replace mamoru, it may seem that because he is the first he gets her but the thing is, in the case of mamo chan und usako they can't get separated that easily :s Usagi-chan was actually doubting Mamo-baka's love as she didn't get any letters returned from him. She kept sending him letters, but he never sent anything back. Actually, for the greater part of the Stars saga I really hated Mamo-baka for that, and I dearly hoped that Seiya and Usagi would hit it off. But then came the truth, hard as a rock, fast as a bullet, heading for my face ... he had been captured ... damn logic sometimes.

But I can't believe I didn't realise that Mamoru was captured. I mean, I actually SAW his plane attacked and I didn't figure it out ... *sighs* I think I'm gettin rusty.
