Ok, I don't know if I'm the only one having this minor problem, but I figed I'd ask anyways.
Whenever I look at the time the proboard says & I have my profile setting set to the central time zone (6 hours from GMT), it says it's 9 something PM when it's 11 something PM. When I put the option on 5 from GMT, then it shows the correct time (that's eastern time & I'm definitely not in the easter time zone. What's the deal? Is it just something on my computer or what?

ProBoards time is my time (GMT+1) -2 hours as well. Must be a bug in ProBoards.

You have to set the time if you want the right one anyway. I usually don't bother because of the little clock on my computer, so I don't need to know my 'proper' time at the boards...

Yes, but it's quite handy to know when other pplz posted their posts, and at what times.

Well that's generally why I don't change it, because sometimes it matches with other peoples' timezones so I find it interesting to know what time it is for them in relation to what time it is for me...

^^; or her. It's an expression, and whenever I use a quote or expression, 'he', 'his', etc. may where proper be replaced with 'she', 'her', etc.

Heh, I know, but you know how pplz get when they latch onto something that may even remotely be connected to discrimination.

Yepyep, and misunderstandings (read: closed minds) lead to arguments.
