I've stated I'm a liberal twat before - but your generalizing like that doesn't look all that intelligent in type.

The only heightened risk for a homosexual is getting beaten up/killed for his preference. A college guy named Matthew Shepard was beaten to death because he was gay. This happened a few years ago. I hope those bastards get life in prison I also heard once that a guy in the navy or something was also beaten to death because he was gay. There are cruel people in the world...

Cruelty is one thing, stupidity, ignorance, and intolerance added with cruelty make it like that.

I've stated I'm a liberal twat before - but your generalizing like that doesn't look all that intelligent in type. The only proof I have (or rather: thought I had) of my 'generalizing' being ungrounded was last year's 'Happy Holidays' card that came from the White House. Unfortunately, the pissy Christian bitches complained about it being a Xmas card without saying 'Merry Xmas'... I think that was the first and only time I actually supported Bush. But that's really all. I know I shouldn't generalize, but the whole air of 'togetherness' that rules amongst them is pretty much the same. How hypocritical is it to say that it's not allowed in a negative context?

How hypocritical is it to say that it's not allowed in a negative context? Actually most US christians do not like the X-Mas abrreviation because it cuts the christ out of christmas. And i don't really understand how you could speak about american party politics when you don't live over here and experience it for yourself. I've met alot of pretty liberal republicans - my father-in-law for example. If NL is corrupt as you say - maybe you should start worrying about your own countries problems and being a responsible citizen to your own country.

Sorriz, but I don't have the kind of money my gov't would like to see, or rather, the amounts. I've been worrying enough over my own country, say, right before the war in Iraq, when Bush (that's right) Bush 'persuaded' European countries into agreeing to the war. Any country not agreeing would lose the 'green card' status (not sure what it's called), and would have to introduce visa for the travelers again. Of course, our prime minister instantly became Bush's lapdog. That's how great MY country is, and yes, the moment I can, I'm migrating.

Well migrate and live here for a few months and then you may continue your rantings on America's political system.

Heh, they're unlikely to change, really. But then again, I'm principally anti-politics ...

I just heard recently that America is Christian-dominated. So allowing gay marriage would ruin our Christian image. That's what I heard.

Cant everyone just accept Civil Unions to get the same rights, and still get have a wedding. It will basically be the same thing, but for legal purposes civil union will be used instead of married.
An Amendment cannot be made that breaks the 1st amendment, Going to a Priest and getting married will always be allowed as long as there is freedom of religion.
I just want a compromise to this debate soon, there is more important issues arising.
