Today I got my school schedule for my eighth grade year. Here's what it is-
A DAY 1st Period-U.S. History 2nd Period-English 3rd Period-Math 4th Period-Science
B DAY 5th Period-Theater Arts 6th Period-Skills for Living 7th Period-P.E. (which I will switch for Office Aide) 8th Period-Speech
Where I live, school starts in two weeks (August 15th) I am SO not looking forward to it! I don't want to go back to school, I don't want to go back to bed at my regular time and miss my television programs that come on late at night, I don't want to do homework, I don't want to suffer through those LOOOOOOONG, BOOOOOOOOORING subjects.

Don't rub it in. How can anybody miss school? At least you're making money! Believe me, you'll start missing school when you have a fulltime job, responsibilities, etc. I know I do. I miss those days when teachers would call in sick, not doing homework and being scolded for it, having fun with friends during recess, you name it. You can't do that kinda shit anymore when you have a job.

Translate to "Whine whine bitch moan because I can't be irresponsible anymore" Be glad you made it through college - be glad you have a future instead of being sad that you can't be lazy anymore. I'm tired of people going "OMG I AM SO SO SO SAD BECAUSE I'M MAKING MONEY AND HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES *GASP*" It's called being an adult. Either deal or put yourself in an institution where you can be fed and have someone wipe your ass for you.

Having a job is a pretty good thing you know. If you wanna bitch at me, bitch at me for being lazy, irresponsible right now, while being unemployed. I'm GONNA have a job soon though.

There should be no teenage years 12 years is enough to teach discipline. It should be 0-12 child 13^ adult Where Im from the schools suck, drugs, weapons, and in some schools only 15% passed. 73 schools in the city are failing, in the metro area theres 90.

And take a guess what kind of student makes those schools fail? If you don't know the answer, take a look in the mirror. Your 'teen' years is the period in your life when your brain develops itself. Apparently, in your life there were no 'teen' years. It's crucial for someone at age 13 to be in school, where they get guidance in this growing process and where they orient themselves on what they want to do in their futures. Where I come from, the education system works, lower than low dropout numbers, lots of high-educated laborers, you name it.
