I don't know if any of you follow the news or not, but yesterday 3 soldiers from the 101st Airborne were killed near Mosul. My step brother is over in Iraq with the 101st right now, so of course we were all waiting to hear the names of those soldiers. He finally called to let us know it wasn't him. However, it was 3 of his buddies. They lived in the same unit, and played vollyball together and stuff like that. It really makes us worried about his safety, moreso than we were before. He was originally going to come home next month, but now he is due to come home in March, which means he will have been there over a year. So if everyone could say a little prayer, or just take a moment to wish them well, I would really appreciate it. We all thought this war was almost over, but now it's coming home more than ever. The 101st is based out of Ft. Campbell, which is 45 minutes from me, so I used to run into soldiers a lot around here. Knowing that someone I could have seen in passing, or said hello to at a bar or something could be one of the ones who died really is upseting. Thanks guys.

Well all i can say is that he is lucky and so are you. And if he does die with this war over nothing. Even if he dies with honor it still hurts even if he dosn't die the pain from waiting and never knowing can really hurt you so, Here is something to think about: According to police records, Approximately 31,957 people commited suiside in Japan in 2000. That means 87 people a day, Or 3-4 people every single hour, Chose to throw their lives away.(info from Confidential Confessions #1) Think about it. If you really think about it you will feel a tad bit better knowing he helped the world in a small but big way.

I think this war is stupid and pointless. If "Mr.Pres" wants to kill all of our guy's and girls he's mental. If he kneeds his stupid war he should NUKE UM!

Although I am still iffy on weither the war was nessessary I do believe that now we are there we must stay the course. As a person intending to join the Army National gaurd I feel justified in making that statment.
I'll pray for your brother's safe return.
God bless him for helping to protect us.
