Okay, so in the Stars anime, Uranus and Neptune kill Saturn and Pluto to trick Galaxia into trusting them. Their plan backfires because they try to kill Galaxia by taking her star seed but she doesn't have one. Now, I don't think Haruka and Michiru were evil, and most people agree. So did they assume that even if they failed, somehow Sailor Moon would make things right? That's kind of implied by a conversation amongst the Starlights. What does everyone think? (And this is only pertaining to the Anime).

What if they thought: if Sailor Moon can't make it right, is it worth saving a person that would have been killed by Galaxia anyway? Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn were sacrifices that were acceptable. They would pretty much have been killed off either way. Besides that, I think Pluto and Saturn were perfect offerings: they both reincarnate after dying after all.

Hey, don't all Sailor Senshi get reincarnated after dying?

Nope They got reincarnated the first time because Queen Serenity used the Ginzuishou for it. As far as I know, after that, they only died during the fight against Beryl, after which Usagi used the Ginzuishou again to wish everything back to normal (or somethin, the details have fled my mind). What other times did they die?

Don't they die in Stars and get reincarnated then?

They don't exactly die. Their star seed is taken out, and made them disappear physically. But their lives were preserved in the star seeds. After Galaxia was defeated, their star seeds were freed and returned their physical appearances. (needs references )

If they don't get reincarnated, what happens to them? This is fantasy, so I'm sure their souls don't just vanish.

Their souls probably just wander...
I always thought they were evil at that point. o.o Then again, what do I know? If that were an act, then they're pretty good actors...

It was an act. If they were truly evil, they would've stolen Usagi and the Starlights' Star Seeds without hesitation.

While I thinh that act was partly evil; I still think that they were still acting for the greater good. But in the after life their actions will be judged.

They were under Galaxia's control. It was a conscious act that Uranis and Neptune made themselves. Heck, Sailor Saturn could have drawn up the necessary powers to defeat Galaxia with the power of death.

If they were under Galaxia's control, why did they try to take her Star Seed? You don't try to kill someone who has you under control.
