still, Mako-chan did the right thing, even if it did suck that she still didnt have a b/f, but she turned out well in the end. and besides that, there's a HUGE HIV epidemic in Africa, even before the recent news, so it was for the best. if only I existed as a character in SM, then Mako-chan wouldnt feel so lonely.*gives Mako-chan a big hug, thus making her blush a lil bit*

Except for when it's required for the storyline?

Uuhm, anime characters in general don't have to worry about HIV? Except for when it's required for the storyline? Pretty much. but its not just anime characters. Fictional characters are dictated by their universe's laws. In the Marvel(comics) universe for example, there is no such thing as cancer. . only mutations. expose a person to cancer inducing radiation and they sprout super powers instead of tumors.

Tell me about it! Like in some movi...can't remember what it's called, but they were exposed to intense radiation whcih would have caused them to die immeadiatley...instead, they became superheros. I wish it was like that in reality. I'd be well known by now, all those times I nearly got killed...

if I got powers from damage, I'd have control over high impact crashes, fire, water, the cold, and electricity. but Marvel has been updating the stories to make the stories more realistic, like in spider-man, the spider was an experiment that was genetically altered, and it's venom contributes it's DNA as a means of passing prior to death. and in the hulk, bruce banners father was working on a super regeneration project, tested it on himself, but bruce got it instead, and when exposed to gamma rays, his repressed anger and emotional damage were converted into his new form, THE INCRADIBLE HULK, and Bruce Banner fully recovered from the gamma blast just by throwing himself in the way of the gamma blast. Wolverine though stayed the same with high intense regeneration, with an adamantium skeleton incorperated with his own skeleton, AND his claws remain true to his original name, except he had reinforcement holes shown in the original X-men film, where in the comics, and animated series, he didnt have reinforcement holes.
then again, with all the crap I went through, I'd be a spider-man + Wolverine + Hulk + Black Mage combo. but sadly, life isnt that easy. if it was, I'd be like one of those neutral super characters, fights crime, and probably commits some too.
back on topic, what else would you do to be like Mako-chan?

hmmmm...well...you could start by having a crush on your blue haired friend.... Uhh. . . the Ami+Makoto thing is unofficial, so that really doesn't count anymore than any other fan made attributes would.

trying to pair up two characters who see eachother as friends in a romantic ralationship is no closer to the truth then if I said I had 8 testicles in my scrotum. Mako and Ami are just friends, besides, I agree with Creshosks fact that the Mako+Ami thing is unofficial, and used only as a joke. asside from that, Mako-chan visits me in my sleep, well, in my dreams anyways.*curls up and blushes* she's so nice when she's happy, and she hits real hard when she's mad.

That sounds like a nice dream. I dream of some guy coming to save me from some evil dude. I'm still trying to unmask him...he looks cute, though....wonder who it could be...?

Well, I don't care. In my little world, they're in a beautiful relationship. Nuff said.
