I think it's funny the way every guy reminds Jupiter of her old boyfriend! ;D ^_^ I think it's rather sweet that she and her old boyfriend were so close that she sees him in every guy.

I wonder why they broke up?? Well, it is stated various times that her old sempai (which is basically more correct than 'boyfriend') broke her heart. So my guess is the bastard dumped her for some reason.

You're muddling definitions again. a sempai is an "elder" and does not "dump" the people who look up tp them. A sempai is a person who is in a position of more experience over the person who calls them sempai. A person you really admire in a feild of work, or in school you'd refer to as sempai, it doesn't imply romantic interest.

"This guy looks just like my old sempai who broke my heart." How do you explain a sempai to break her heart if it wasn't for dumping her? For not picking her in the first place? Are you familiar with the Valentine's day/White day ritual? Even so if he was already with someone and she made an advance towards something romantic and he rejected her affections. That's do it.

Even so if he was already with someone and she made an advance towards something romantic and he rejected her affections. That's do it. Then it wouldn't be fair to say he broke her heart, because having a crush on someone that's already engaged in a relationship wouldn't break one's heart. It would instead motivate them to search on for a free partner. Breaking one's heart only occurs when a person is devoted to another and then actually does something to break it, like cheating, or dumping.

IT depends on the person and how much of a relationship they think they have as well. . . some people out there get totally obsessed with a person. Fatal Attraction comes to mind. Various stalker movies . . .

Well, Mako-chan definately isn't one to get all obsessed over something (although her old sempai seems to have had a big impact on her psyche alright), and she sure isn't a stalker.
