I think that the manga of Stars is MUCH better than the anime Stars. The anime Stars is missing MANY things from the manga. Example-Galaxy Cauldron, Sailor Crystals, Crystal Garden, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion, Phi, Chi, Sailor Mnemosyne and Lethe. Also, the senshi in the manga have better costumes. Oh, and let's not forget that Chibi Chibi can actually TALK in the manga!

Yeah the anime maybe lacking a few things... the fuku's the extra senshi... and so one. Ehhh I don't think tha manga version is that much better.
The extra senshi are interesting. But I don't like how the four inner senshi, (Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter) are killed in the first book. *sniffles* Also I wish the manga was a little longer... The anime gave the characters more time to interact with each other.
Although the eternal fuku's are cool. I like the way the Starlights look with wings (... Maker most of all ) Anther thing I like is the fact the starlights attacks are much stronger in the manga than in the anime. I also like the fact that they stay female. (It wasn't Takeuchi that changed that!) Anther thing I love about the manga is the art work.

Well then how can you say which is better if you've only seen the anime?
Just a question, why does StarS have a big 'S' at the end?

Anyway, I think the big ''S'' at the end means ''senshi'', or ''soldiers'', whatever you want to call them. The title could be ''Star Senshi''

Actually, I thought the S at the end just made it plural. For example the capitalized S at the end of SuperS just means that there's more than one of them (the senshi)... I'm pretty sure that's what the S at the end of StarS means, too...

Right... she's only a shadow (usagi-like shadow with heart shaped odangos mmmmm sounds familiar...... sailor cosmoss!!!!! lol ) As you probably know, the anime and manga are different continuities. There may be a Sailor Cosmos in the manga, but there is never said to be one in the anime. I will admit that it is very likely that the animators were inspired by Sailor Cosmos from the manga when they came up with the Light of Hope. Just a question, why does StarS have a big 'S' at the end? Ask the fans that. "Sailorstars" appears on the official Japanese sources and such. The "StarS" was probably created because it reminded a fan of "SuperS."

I like both versions! Well, I cannot prefer one because they are SO different. But it would have been really cool to see Usagi marrying Mamoru in the anime! But by the way the anime was finished before the manga! Takeuchi-san did create a more complex and different story intentional! (She said that in an interview)

StarS (manga) was much better. Sailor Stars was ok...but seriously...where are the Outer Senshi?!

I agree - the manga was MUCH better!! But I can say that for every season, because I'm a die-hard manga fan. The Stars is just plural - it shouldn't be written as StarS. Not sure why some fans write it that way, but probably for the same reason they spell lots of things incorrectly, such as saying "Nepherenia" or whatever when it should be "Nehellenia." Also, Cosmos doesn't appear in the anime, sadly. That's ChibiChibi as an adult, but she isn't called Sailor Cosmos. I kind of wish she had appeared, though - I thought the whole business of Sailor Cosmos was very cool.
