America is better than japan I would have blindly deleted this post if Creshosk didn't beat me to this thread. And if Sailor Mercury wasn't the main admin. Well, I'm not sure if this is true, but I think there's a certain percentage of americans that think that the US is better than any country out there (note how there's no real arguments given to support this statement). Considering this fact, that percentage of americans basically nullifies their own statement, considering the fact that the percentage of Japanese that think the same about their country is insignificantly small. Same with other countries (except for France), most citizens don't think of their own country as an über-country.

I think it's dumb that some pplz spend their lives devoted to something/someone that has never been proven to exist. Then again, to each their own.

That is so true, but there are some things that even other religions or groups wont even do. The guy that I am talking about was really dumb and thought, since I said something about respecting the Christian ppl on the other forum, I was Christian.... I'm not... I am wican and I am proud of that.... ^_^

Well, I'm not sure if this is true, I'm talking about objectivly. Japan and America are pretty much equal, because they each have their own strencths and weaknesses. Every country has its own strengths and weakneses. And on the whole religon issue, I'm agnostic. . . I'm basically a fence sitter on the issue, I don't think that the existence of any such diety can be proven or disproven. since through ad ignoratum, the absence of proof doesn't constitue a proof of absence. since after all it was scientifically accurate to think the world was flat and that our solar system was geocentric rather than heliocentric.

It's not freedom of expression that's the fault here, it's spam and offtopic-ness. I should put my two cents in here, I think that if there really were some deity out there, why do they not show themselves sometimes? You know, socialise. Or help out. That's what they're supposed to do, right?

Not necessarily... if there is such a being like that out there he/she is probably having a good laugh at how hopeless we all are, heh... I'm agnostic borderline athiest anyway, so... religion is certainly not my area of expertise... But then again, you know what they say, the things you shouldn't talk about in a conversation: Religion and Politics And I tend to agree, because they just create anger and unease between people...

That's what they're supposed to do, right? Why should they deign to? and if they did would anyone believe them? But then again, you know what they say, the things you shouldn't talk about in a conversation: Religion and Politics And I tend to agree, because they just create anger and unease between people... good point, but my mother always said that if you argue about religion or polotics with a member of my family, you'll lose. it dont matter if ya think you're right, in the end ya lose, proven in countless arguments. but enough of that. someone requested a fan art of Ami wearing a surgical mask. still a lil buisy.

They certainly do. But I'm a war-data droid so you know . . . LOL well... I don't mind talking about it sometimes, depends on who you're talking to though, because honestly, there is no right or wrong answer, it's all about opinions and personal preference... But yeah, this isn't really the place for it

Dude that ant racist what he said.
I suggest you read a book about how races started and what cause them. America is too big to have a race, but it could have a few dozen races.
Ill make it simple for you.
(Climate,Diet,Culuture,# of people) X 5,000 years
It basically the same as evoulition.
1 basic frame (Homo Sapian) just with differnt stuff on it.
After We the Homo Sapians die out there will be another frame to replace us.
