Ah, thanks for disagreeing, Zyppy.
I'm not an expert on the manga. I only got to read the last few English books. o.O All I saw of Seiya was Sailor Star Fighter.

If somebody think that Seya is lesbian,so how about Zoicite and Malachit,on point they must be a gays, but itsn `t true, because Zoicite loves Malachit like father, and how about girs? They loves Usagi or Serena to,but nobody don`t think such way, that maybe girls lesbian to? Seya loves princess like girls loves Usagi, and I absolutly sure that from this point Seya CAN`T BE LESBIAN,believe me its true,Seya can`t be lesbian.think about it once again, think good, and compare Seya`s love and girl`s love and you see that these two kind of love absolutly same,so think what that means, and really Seya was lesbian or its just someone`s fantasy you know what that makes alot of sense I agree

Using that very argument you could infer that all of the girls were lesbians. There is a difference between plutonic love shared between most of the characters and the romantic love that is evident from seiya and Seiya's jealousy towards Mamoru. Also there is nothing "fartherly" in the relationship between kunzite and zoicite. . . I don't know how any fathers act that way towards their sons. . . but if they do there is nothing plutonic there.

Ahh this argument is still going on.
There is nothing "Fatherly" in Zoicite and Kunzite's love... PERIOD. They are supposed to be gay lovers.
Seiya's love was meant to be romantic to Usagi. Whether he was romantically in love with Kakyuu is up for debate.
The bottom line is that in the manga Seiya is a girl ALL THE TIME... and she's in love with Usagi. In the anime Seiya is a girl HALF THE TIME.. and she's STILL in love with Usagi. Come on people...!!
No matter what mumbo jumbo or bad spelling/grammar errors you type in is going to change that.
So let's all stop being homophobic and if i hear the words "SEIYA CAN'T BE A LESBIAN" or "KUNZITE AND ZOICITE WEREN'T GAY" again I'm going to start bashing some heads. Because it's simply making up excuses for the rampant homophobia of America today.
Thank you and good night. :3

Well in the manga she was like lesbian because they were girls dressed up like boys and Seiya fell in love with Usagi I'd have to say she was a lesbian in the manga, but in the anime seiya really isnt because she really is a boy and then she transforms into a girl. So its really hard to say.

So its really hard to say. Seiya is still a girl you know. She only becomes a boy to find their princess faster. But -as is discussed and concluded in the above- her being a guy doesn't change her feelings for Usagi.

well i say no because when seiya came to earth he had no choice and he was turned into boy, and boy's like girls, but when he changes in sailor fighter, the felling change, just like one of you said she love's her like the other scouts love serena Well thats not totally true because in the american episode where serena has here star seed taken, Starfighter tried to run foward to stop it from happening but the other starlights held her back

I believe there is a line in her character poem where Seiya says that she fell in love with Usagi "with the heart of a boy," which may indicate that in the anime she is not supposed to be lesbian. In the manga, however, Seiya is a woman all the time and is clearly shown to be lesbian (or possibly bisexual.) I think there are several scenes that show evidence that Seiya has romantic feelings for princess Kakyuu.
The lyrics of the Three Lights' song are aimed at Kakyuu, and that song is clearly a love song. And who writes the lyrics? Seiya. Now, given that all three of them sing the song, and that they are pop stars and thus would tend to sing about that sort of thing, this in itself does not prove any romantic attraction. But other scenes may show that Seiya's feelings go beyond those of the other two Starlights.
When Seiya sings alone on the rooftop in act 44, her voice is so full of emotion that it makes Usagi wonder who she's singing for--and apparently also causes her senshi powers to react, because Aluminum Siren zeroes in on her soon after. Later, after Seiya must force Usagi to remember Mamoru's death, Yaten asks her why she cares so much about Usagi. Seiya replies "because she reminds me of that person." It's very likely that "that person" is Kakyuu, as she is the only other character Seiya is shown to be acquainted with before coming to Earth--I don't think Takeuchi-san would write in a line like that and then leave the plot thread hanging. This line parallels Usagi saying that Seiya reminds her of Mamoru, which may show that Seiya's feelings for Kakyuu are similar to Usagi's for Mamoru.
Now as we all know, Seiya later falls in love with Usagi. So Kakyuu's out, Usagi is in, right? Maybe not. Even while she's crushing on Usagi, Kakyuu remains Seiya's first priority. But the question remains as to why Seiya continues to stay with Usagi even after Kakyuu appears.
Here's my speculation: In the manga, Seiya and Kakyuu's situation is a little different. Kakyuu had a lover back on Kinmoku who was killed by Galaxia when their planet was attacked. When Kakyuu first recounts the story of her lover's death, she breaks down in tears, and then Seiya is shown looking distressed. Note the difference in Seiya's reaction when Kakyuu cries for her love as opposed to when Usagi later cries over Mamoru. When Usagi is crying, Seiya walks over and puts an arm around her to comfort her. In this case, both of them already know what happened to Mamoru, and Usagi believes she can get Mamoru back by defeating Galaxia. The potential for a relationship between them is pretty much over. Both of them realize this, so Seiya is able to hug her, and even kiss her, with the understanding that she's doing it as a friend. Usagi may have realized that Seiya was in love with her, but she also understood that Seiya did not intend to keep pursuing a relationship.
By contrast, when Kakyuu is crying, Seiya can only stand there looking anguished. She can't approach Kakyuu to comfort her, because her own feelings are too complicated. She doesn't want to look like she's trying to take the place of Kakyuu's old lover, and maybe deep down she doesn't know what to feel, because as much as she feels sorry for Kakyuu, the death of her lover means that Seiya might have a chance. Besides, Seiya has to go back to Kinmoku with Kakyuu. She can let Usagi know her feelings, because they both know she's leaving and they'll never see each other again. There won't be that constant awkwardness between them. However, if Kakyuu discovered Seiya's feelings, they would still have to see each other every day. And Seiya is Kakyuu's guardian. It would put a big strain on their friendship and their working relationship if Kakyuu realized Seiya's feelings.
Another thing to note: even while Seiya has her arm around Usagi, she's still thinking about Kakyuu. She tells Usagi, "You're burdened with such heavy wings. Princess Kakyuu, too. Her beloved was lost to Galaxia..." Even now when she's fully admitted her love for Usagi, she's still comparing her to her princess.
At the end of that scene, as Usagi leaves, Seiya watches her go and says to herself, "we're of different stations in the galaxy... maybe this is an unrequited love, Seiya." Immediately after this, a picture of Kakyuu is shown, ending the scene. I like to think that line was for both of them. Sadly, the similarity of their situations may have been what caused Seiya to compare Usagi to Kakyuu in the first place. Usagi's love was also killed right before her eyes. Galaxia was hunting her as well. She was lonely and scared, but she was strong. Seiya failed to protect her princess, and now a girl who is remarkably similar to her appears right in front of her. It's little wonder she transferred her protectiveness, and eventually her love, onto Usagi.

Maybe since Seiya was a amle so much that he started to believe that he was actual a guy. Or if Seiya was a lesibian it was not a conscious act. It was a matter of chance. Seiya started to care about Usagi and saw her a guiding light.

Whoa, I'm gonna have to find the people responsible for buthering the anime. The manga sounds so much better and things actually make sense there.

Is what i said hard for you to UNDERSTAND or is it hard for you to get over your homophobia and admit the obvious. Ahem. I should have noticed this before. Could we tone down the flaming and jumping to conclusions, please? Just because one person posted a poorly supported argument does not make everyone in the topic a homophobe. Heheh ^_^;; You must be from the post-Yatenkou era here on SMO. Ask SM about her ... Zoisite and Kunzite (Malachite for dub fans) ... OMG! Did I misread that for 'Malachite for du mb fans' or what?! ^_^;;; I was like 'wow, she's bold', then I read it again and was like 'crap, I misread'
