Well, yea, I just wanted to point out that there's other strong points on them Ami's not suited for a leader, because she was never meant to be one. That's Minako's role.

But if something would happen, and Ami was put in that position, Im sure she would be an excellent leader.

She's more a behind the scenes type, using her computer while others fight, like in the episode where she and Sailor Uranus are together in Nehelania's nightmare world. Sailor Uranus is the leader there. I was thinking that exact samething. That scene did remind me of the the first officer from the movie U-571. He would not react to any situation unless it was 100%. Like Mercury she has to find the right answer. But in the battle field there is no time. You have to make a move even if it is not the right move. But if something would happen, and Ami was put in that position, Im sure she would be an excellent leader. I would like to think that too.

I don't think she would make a good leader.

I don't know if she'd be a good leader, maybe with the planning and the brain parts but the other parts I'm not so sure... Well, yea, I just wanted to point out that there's other strong points on them Ami's not suited for a leader, because she was never meant to be one. That's Minako's role. ...And exactly why is that? I never seen any leadership quality in Minako...

I think in the manga she's profiled more as one. And I gotta rewatch the anime to get up-to-date

Mercury would be a suitable leader only because she is the team strategist however, in my personal opinion, I cannot see her as an authority figure unlike Venus and Moon. While Mercury provides the brains, the others have better qualities such as more confidence (except Moon in this case, haha) and the others seem more outgoing. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Mercury as leader

Okay, so if Mercury was the leader of the Senshi, she could offer some outstanding skills to the group, the most obvious one is her intelligence. But, most of her methods of attacks are defense and as a leader, I think they should be offensive. Don't get me wrong, every leader has their weaknesses and strengths but I when they are tallied up, Mercury fits perfectly in the position she is, as one of the guardians. Although I would love to see Mercury as leader, that will probably never happen because well, Moon was already born for that role.

Mercury would only be able to handle being leader as long as her team supported her. The moment there was any sign of mutiny she wouldn't be able to handle it, and I could see Uranus, Mars, or Venus walking all over her. Mercury may have good ideas, but she doesn't have the confidence to make everyone listen to her or tell them what to do.

Really good point, but if Mercury was actully put into that position of leadership power, you never know her personality may alter. Take Usagi for example, Chibi Usa is pointing out numerous times how different her mother and Usagi (the teenage girl) are. Different circumstances help shape people into what they need to be.
