personally I thought Viluy was short-lived like Tellu, which shown in the anime, she much like tellu, was slain by her own specialty. Viluy used nanomachines, Tellu used plants, Mimet used 2nd level heart snatchers, Eudial used her gun and monsters so she did much of her dirty work, Kaolinite... pretty much a well rounded witch, but she seemed a lil too love struck in her second comming... she looked almost like a Beryl clone if you got a good look, just slick the hair back, toss the shoulder horns, lose the tiara, and make the eyes human instead of cat-like ones. you'd see a similarity... and yet it gives me chills with the thought that Doc Tomoe possibly cloned Beryl... *shudders* In one of the eps, Prof. Tomoe says something like this: And anyone who watched the first saga knows who this 'someone' was.

Why would he wanna clone Beryl? Besides, given the current cloning methods, we see how old Kaorinite is (early - late twenties). Which means she should have been cloning her at least 20 years ago. The Sailor Senshi fought Queen Beryl not even two years before we see Kaorinite. I don't think she's Beryl's clone, no.

dont forget accelerated aging! the accelerated aging factor of cloning is what could render a clone into a 20 year old in even 2 years! remember the clone sheep? it aged much faster than the original! thats what freaks me out! and you can slow down cloning at any point to render a clone into a mere double, almost a twin.

This is a reference to Nephlite (Beryl's General) and how he used the stars to predict the targets of collecting energy. Kaorinite's eyes and Beryl's eyes are different colors...I don't see the resemblance at all O.o?? (What? That they both have red hair?) Eudial was cool. And of course, I have to love Mimete because...she's like evil Venus. (I don't REALLY like her though) *stares* What??

He did say take away the tiara and horns; make Beryl's eyes human, and you'd see a similarity. I agree with that.

Beryl has pointy ears, and Kaorinite doesn't. That's another difference.

ya, I forgot that beryl looked like a spock elf from hell unholy love child. but you can see the simmilarity right? and dont forget that with cloning you can modify some genetic features, like make a clone of yourself that is the opposite gender, or with different eyes, or be a complete genetic overhaul with features you've always wanted, and your clone would be completely compatible with you based on the genetic base used for creation. so with that included, you could understand the simmilarities. now after seeing Beryls mug again, I realized she gives me the willies, and makes me kinda nauseas.

So...their noses and mouths...look alike? XD?
Don't you judge what a person looks like mostly by their eyes? (at least in anime)
I still don't see any resemblance.

Mars Reiko said the agreeing line. need I mind you again about the whole genetic engeneering thing when cloning? havent you seen Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones? a clone can have accellerated aging and according to some sci-fi beleifs, you can stop the accelerated aging to natural normal human aging. it just means a hormone injection that slows cell division... but even now that idea is experimental.

Yea...I don't think someone cloned Beryl. In fact, they don't even look alike so...

I see the resemblance between Beryl and Kaorinite. That's an interesting speculation that Raptor has made about Kaorinite being a clone of Beryl.
My favorite Death Buster was definately Professor Tomoe. I must dig guys with white/gray hair or SOMETHING. He's a hottie, yeeowza!
