If you can find the script for it... I'm still not sure though... Eh that's just a personal thing though... I never have my speakers on so I don't see the point, myself... but... whatever...

Well, it's basically the same here, but I do have the speakers on sometimes when playin music on Winamp. Especially then, when I'm listening to my own music, I think it's HIGHLY annoying that some website suddenly plays the Village People or somethin. Hence the fact that I recommended the choice of clicking the music window open, instead of forcing music in the background. I have been looking for the script, and haven't found it yet, but I'm still on it. You should also keep in mind, that the music and the script need a host (it'll take some space and probably below a gig BW per month). I won't be searching for a host though, keep this in mind.

That's a really good idea. If you do decide to do it will it be midi or the real thing, I don't want to be fussy but midi doesn't do the songs justice but I don't really mind. (Lunarock is a great album especially track 2) ;D ;D ;D P.S. Zyppora, what does your signature mean?? And I really want to know what your avatar message means.

Well, I'm not sure what you mean with 'midi or real thing', I was thinking about mp3 (which is basically as good as CD quality). It's gonna take some webspace though (approx. 3 to 4MB per song). My signature: Suisei ni kawatte oshiokiyo = In the name of Mercury, I'll punish you Jap stuff = Jipora, Zyppora in Katakana And I'm not sure what you mean with my avatar message ... my avatar's just a pic of Mercury with the name 'Zyppora' written in a corner.

If it's an MP3 then it will be too big... I mean... issues with downloads, heh... and I don't really know any places to upload music files to anyway... I dunno.

I guess mp3's are a bit big indeed, but there's plenty of other audio formats, like wav (which is EXTREMELY large), au (dunno this one), rm/rpm (for RealPlayer). We're just gonna have to figure out which one is most filesize/quality efficient and convert the songs we want in the jukebox to said format. Yes, the more songs you want, the more webspace it'll take up. We could open up a separate Angelfire account for this purpose, they give 20MB of space and a gig of BW, as far as I know (I'm not sure if they went down with resources since the last time I checked). They don't allow hotlinking images, but we're opening a whole page in a separate window, so it should be fine.

Excuse the doubleposting, but I've come up with something for the music. Since I couldn't find the highly advanced playlist script that I saw SOMEWHERE (can't remember where *hits head against monitor*), so I've gone the oldfashioned way and wrote something myself. All I need now is access to an Angelfire account that's filled with mp3 files or mid files so I can upload the script and add the files to the playlist. I'm unfortunate to say that I do not have the proper hosting for providing you all with loads of mp3's, considering the size of the files, but I'm sure a few Angelfire accounts will solve that problem. Now, I am willing to download/upload requests, so if it's alright with Sailor Mercury (the admin, that is), I'll put up a Request thread for the jukebox, open up a batch of Angelfire accounts and get everything ready.

I'm not too keen on this myself, but if you're willing to do everything, then that's fine...

I'm willing to do it all, but if that's the case, my name's gonna be on the bottom of it

Working on it. I'm trying to upload mp3's (LARGE files), and I'm tryin to get Angelfire to accept'em, but so far nothin. If this keeps up, I'm gonna be forced to use mid's instead.

I've been told that: mywebpage.netscape.com/ is a good place to upload music to... if you want to try it, the option is there, at any rate...
